This was a phenomenal dining experience all around. The food was superb and the locale was close to the river. I would highly recommend this spot for a great sit-down meal. I would support the ordering of the Spoon Burger, but also browse the specials. Enjoy

I stopped at Spoonriver again last night....fabulous, as always...
If you want the finest and freshest local produce, check out Spoonriver. As always, lots of craft cocktails to choose from, wine and more, along with just enough menu items, made just right. I've eaten here many times, prior to a theater performance and was always delighted with my meals. If you want to cook healthy, check out Brenda's cookbook, on site, and still available for sale.

Wonderful atmosphere, staff was very friendly, food was fresh and flavorful and was a very pleasant experience. We got the shrimp quesadilla and the fried egg and avocado sandwich. Definitely reccomend both items. Stop by whenever you are in the neighborhood

Nice place to come for weekend brunch. We sat outside and had a lovely view of the nearby farmers market going on. I got the special of the day, which was basically eggs with tons of veggies, I really enjoyed it! Everything tasted and looked really fresh. I think this would also be a nice spot to dine before catching a show at the Guthrie as you’re right across the street. All in all, definitely recommend this place.

The waiter gave me great suggestions! I had the lamb burger and it was light but flavorful. Plus, my drink was so unique. Great setting and view of the stone arch bridge!

We went to spoonriver before a performance at the Guthrie. I made a reservation and we had no trouble getting seated. Our cocktails were unique and the meal was very good and the right proportion in my opinion. I would definitely stop by again on my way to the theater.
