Great experience at Prima! The staff were quick, frequent, and paid attention to detail. I highly recommend their bruschetta with fresh tomato and basil. We ended up picking up a bottle of the wine we had for dinner on our way home too! Will definitely go back again!

Wonderful little Italian restaurant. We went without reservations (not recommended) on Friday night at 6:30. We got seats at the window in 30 minutes. Everything was excellent. Staff high energy and friendly.

First time diner at Prima. It was delicious! I had the spicy sausage penne; it was a mild type of spicy, but delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly. My friends enjoyed their dishes as well. I definitely will be going back. Ideal for a friends night out, date night, or any special occasion.

Prima is such a cute Italian place! The bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had - highly recommend. My spaghetti alla vodka was good, but I wished there was a bit more flavor. The meatballs were great, but the sauce wasn’t as flavorful as other vodka sauces I’ve had. Overall though it was still pretty great! My friend has the goat cheese and herb ravioli and loved it!

Hard to beat this cozy farm-to-fork neighborhood trattoria. Intimate atmosphere, great food and a highly experienced service staff always makes for a wonderful extended family outing. The grilled salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus is a personal favorite. Family owned Italian since 1999. Thanks as always! Check it out!

Loved it! We called ahead and they gave us an estimated wait time, so we put our names on the list. We got there at the said time, and only had to wait maybe 10 minutes for our table. They kept apologizing that the people currently at the table hadn’t left yet, but of course that wasn’t their fault. We were seated soon enough, and then our server, Karen, took excellent care of us. She was so kind and pleasant and fun. The servers seem to work as a team; a few different people brought us our food and drinks and everyone was extremely nice (not fake nice, just genuinely nice). The food was great too! One of our dishes was undercooked, and they whisked it back to the kitchen to finish cooking, and brought it back re-plated and presented beautifully again. Very pleased, and will be back!

A neighborhood gem. Chef Eliot has a gift for preparing seafood with delicious and seasonal accompaniments, as well as Italian favorites. We have been dining in and taking out for many years, nourished with the great menu, lovely wines, and the care and personal care of the staff, who are welcoming to old and new visitors. Great food at reasonable prices, a warm atmosphere, off-street parking, and real genuine hospitality.

We had a wonderful family dinner at Prima - we started the meal with one of their off menu appetizers of the evening, the Ellsworth cooperative White Cheddar Cheese Curds, my son ordered the Calamari which was perfectly cooked in a light batter with tender calamari, my husband the Bucatini all'Amatriciana - the tomatoes based sauce was fresh and delicious and chose the Penne Con Pollo Alla Gorgonzola with Grilled chicken breast, wild mushrooms, roasted peppers, toasted walnuts, gorgonzola cream sauce. You could taste each ingredient and the combination was outstanding. We all enjoyed the complimentary bread which is flown in from New York. Our server was professional and engaging. It was our first visit and will not be our last.

What a great restaurant. We had the entire family in for a birthday celebration. The menu was not expansive but everyone found something to their liking. Everything was magnificent. They had a pork special that was excellent. I highly recommend and we will go back.

Plan ahead note: park in the back and go in the back door! Also I recommend making a reservation ahead of time. Review: My family brought me to dinner here for my birthday - every course was incredible! The staff was super nice and made sure we always had our drinks refreshed throughout the meal. One of the best crime brûlées I have ever eaten! It is not a big place, has a very intimate and neighborly feel.
