The legacy of Milwaukee's first pizza lives on here, and it holds up today as one of the best thin crust pizzas in the region.
Best thin crust around! Worth any wait on a busy night. I didn’t catch his name, but the nicest man even offered to carry my pizzas to the car across the street, thank you! The mozzarella sticks are wonton wrapped topped with Parmesan cheese & spices, SO good. 10/10 recommend & be nice to the pizza dude.. or no pizza for you!
I absolutely love the pizza, this place is a hidden gem! The customer service has always been good as well. I just please ask that you update the website. The medium Classic pizza coupon for Wed. and Thurs., is no longer available. But the most shocking was the $12.99, 12in Classic that's listed on the website is actually over $20 when not using cash. I realize the cost of everything has gone up but that's a really big jump so it needs to be updated on the website so customers won't be so shocked or disappointed. But the pizza is sooo good, can't go wrong with the Special or Classic.
I wrote this around 4 years ago, and the food here continues to set the gold standard.
Really good thin crust, crispy even in the middle. Ordered a large veg. The sauce is full of flavors, but not overwhelming. Everything was very fresh and you could taste each ingredient.
I'm a big fan of Balistreri's, Pizzeria Piccola, Maria's, Pizza Shuttle and Wells Brothers. This is unique to all of them, but close to PizzPicc, though the dough not as chewy.
Big glasses of water given after we sat down.
We wanted to try a new pizza place on a random Friday evening, and we played restaurant roulette to find Caradaro Pizza Club on Vliet St. The gentleman who served us was just a gem! He spoke to our kids, brought them a halloween toy, and took time to chat. My family felt truly at home in this lovely space! We want to send a heartfelt thank you!
Visited this pizza joint while in Milwaukee. We were the only family in the place and got great service from the owner. He told us the story of the restaurant and how he became a pizza guy. It was a fun experience and we got dinner for 4 for around $30. We look forward to eating the leftovers.
This is really a cozy place with the best thin crust pizza that I have ever had. You can't miss finding the place...it has a huge coffee cup on the roof that is straight out of the Leave It To Beaver episode where he falls in... :9) The veggie pizza had fresh, fresh, vegetables for my vegetarian better half. I added the Italian sausage on my half to make it perfect! John, the proprietor works like a dog. Cooks, waiters, and delivers beer to the table with a smile. Try this place out!
My husband and I took a weekend trip to Milwaukee for his birthday. I’ve never been to town and was excited to explore! We enjoyed so many beautiful places and foods, 1 of which was Caradaro. We were next door at O Riley’s pub in hopes of getting some delicious Irish cuisine but when we arrived we were informed the kitchen was closed. So we looked up near by pizza and turns out this place was next door. I called and was lucky enough to speak to the owner. He informed me they were slammed and his estimated time for food was about 2 hours. When I told him we wouldn’t be able to wait that long he worked with me to get us a pizza and garlic cheese bread in under 20 min. He was very kind and made the perfect ending to our weekend get away. Although we don’t watch much basketball in STL, we were thrilled to eat the delicious pizza while watching the Bucks beat the Suns!
