Went to Purple Door for the first time. I was not disappointed. Great charismatic service. The ice cream was wonderful, served in a warm waffle cone.

You can make lunch out of their banana split ice cream. It is delicious. The staff are friendly, and it has urban revival vibe to it.

Crazy but delicious flavors! The front of the house manager is always so nice and helpful by offering suggestions of pairings. Great seasonal flavors. Be prepared for a line out the door during the summer but completely worth it.

Not only is this the best ice cream you will likely ever have in your life, but do your best to try and go when Mario is working his magic behind the counter. No joke, Mario reminded me of an ice cream sommelier, letting us try some great samples and even some of his handpicked pairings. He did his job with joy and was genuinely pumped about their product. Camer here after dinner with my fiancé to end the night on a sweet note. It was a perfect little ice cream place. We aren't from the area and absolutely loved it here. The girls working on Friday night were so sweet and let us try some flavors before we decided what we wanted. I highly recommend this place and you can't go wrong with the salted caramel! 😋

Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of flavors with non-dairy options as well. There is no indoor seating currently, which is a bit disappointing as it is getting cold. But the ice cream is delicious and they give you a lot of it!

As a lover of ice cream, Purple Door really hits the spot!
We opted out of the traditional wedding cake in favor of mini cones from Purple Door and never looked back. We selected salted caramel, Door County cherry chocolate chunk, and lime with blackberries, but there were so many other great flavors that we tasted.
Will be back every Milwaukee visit.

We stopped in here on a day trip to Milwaukee and you could tell by the crowd and line that we made a good choice. I had a hard time picking my two flavors for my waffle cone (which they make in house) because everything looked so good. This is some of the best ice cream I’ve had lately, definitely going in my top five.
