Best restaurant in Milwaukee, staffed very friendly, fast service and the food is amazing. Best chicken tortas I ever had. Every time I come thru Milwaukee I must to stop here to get my torta.
best salsa I have EVER had. Nice heat. and I like the way they do their soft tacos in the corn tortillas. so much flavor! highly recommended!

I came on a referral, and I’m glad I did! This restaurant is amazing. The service is fantastic.The food is awesome, and the atmosphere is warm. The salsa is so spicy but soooo good. I had the chimichanga, Mexican rice, refried beans and a very small salad. It was so tasty. I will definitely return. I hope I get the same waiter because he was outstanding!
Very nice place. Good food. Great service. Would love the parking lot to be bigger. But over all a great experience. Will return in the summer for their outdoor patio. Service was quick. Family of 5 people and with tip and drinks included it was $75. So its worth the price.
Ordered the parrillada for 2. Could have fed 3/4 easily. Server very friendly, atmosphere very chill. Food very authentic tasting! The costillas were to die for, they brought a plate of arroz and frijoles for each person with guac and pico. They put carne asada and chorizo. And they added papitas. All in all an excellent meal, probably best meal ive had at GTO and ive been coming here for almost a decade 😋😋😋
I’m simply impressed by the quality I got for such a friendly price. I’ve just had the best Bloody Mary, quesadilla & guacamole in my life. The staff was quick, friendly and helpful. Definitely the best restaurant I’ve visited during my one-month stay in Milwaukee!😊
An authentic home cooking type of place. Great for casual and last minute meals. They're fast and service is always great. Not a Michelin star place but you can get all the dishes you know just like mom made em. I've had the Chile rellenos (yum) If I had to pick something they could do better it would be the salsa with the chips. They could also do better with vegetarian options.
Enjoy their taco Thursday special. Their al pastor and carne asada tacos are my favorite in town. Their food is pretty consistent. Their red and green salsa make it pretty traditional. For an authentic place, I would look no further
Good food, fast, and nice outdoor seating. This inside is a bit cramped but the outdoor seating is nice and covered and not loud.
Food is great but the menu is sometimes unclear on the details for the dish. Do your research ahead of time if you want something specific. Check out the menu online.
Service is super fast. This is especially comforting when dining with kids. Kids meals come with horchata which is a nice treat.
Nachos Supreme with steak. Consisted of chips, melted cheese, refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, pickled jalapeños, with sour cream and guacamole on the side. Good portion size and reasonably priced. Will order it again.
Sooo good. Best beef tacos I’ve ever had. Amazing salsa —everything was so good. Outdoor patio is very nice - cozy with flowers and colored lights. Visiting from Michigan for the afternoon! What a great choice for our only meal in Milwaukee. Highly recommend
