This is one of those places in that you have to give five stars even though the other stars don't add up. It's classic on Wells in Milwaukee for MSOE students, where I went to school. They got the basics chili noodles beans sour cream cheese onions. The Chili's greasy and good and you can get a chili dog as well. May want to ask for a fork for that one. Clean up after yourself nothing fancy. Seems like it's not as cheap as it used to be. Sit at the bar and make some friends.
Chilli is like mom and dad's its good, but I like southwest style better. That be the reason for 4 stars. Also I like macaroni better then spaghetti noodles. The place is clean, and service is prompt.

Real Chili is a staple of the Milwaukee dive scene. Pay at the counter, belly up at the counter or grab a table. Super friendly and chatty staff make this a local hotspot for post bar shenanigans, it's the perfect place to get some food before stumbling home! Feel free to stop in during the day as well, the atmosphere will be a little more chill-e.
Real Chili is in the business of doing one thing and doing it extremely well. Photos on the walls of celebrities dining are a self-proclaimed resume and testament that it is easily the best chili hands down. They offer Chili at a variety of heat levels w/ various fixins- w/ or w/o beans, cheese, onions and sour cream. Mix and match to your hearts content. They also offer their chili on hot dogs to make for amazing chili cheese dogs. Although I've never actually had one, I'm sure they're great!
Top it off with a tall boy of miller or pabst or some other craft brew and you'll quickly understand why this is a local favorite.
You don't go her for the atmosphere. You go for the delicious Chili! Medium is mold, Spicy is medium. Great value.
Food: easily the best chili in town, probably in the entire state of Wisconsin.
Service: doesn't seem busy inside whenever I go, and I think it serves a lot more carryout orders than seated ones. As such, service whole seated is generally quick and friendly.
Atmosphere: it's exactly what I'd expect from a chili shop to be honest

Quiet literally my favorite place in Milwaukee. It was one of the first places I ate at as a freshman at Marquette, and it continues to feed my soul six years later. Make sure to ask for a bumper sticker!
Everything I hoped to get from this no-frills stop-in. Get the chili "hot" with all the sides and enjoy the ride
A nice little spot, a hole in the wall type of place and perfect in its own way. They have other offerings but its main dish is chili. You can get it with or with out beans, with or without noodles. They have add ins like onions, cheese, jalapenos, etc. The portions are good. I've always gotten a second helping. :)
Its unique flavor brings us back.
