Visiting Milwaukee, and staying at the Super 8, I stumbled upon Jalapeño Loco, which is a few blocks away. RARELY, do I give any restaurant 5 stars, but this place deserved all 5s, and more. The atmosphere, the food, the presentation, the service, were all outstanding. The MOLE! Incredible. I have been to Mexican restaurants all over the US, and definitely have my favorites, but will be adding Jalapeño Loco to the TOP of the list! ❤️🌮🇲🇽
Attended a private party in their lower level. Nice space if you need a place for a gathering. The lower level has its own bar. Food was good and served buffet-style for our event.
We went to Jalapeño Loco for my sister-in-laws birthday. We have been before and just as the time before… the food was AMAZING!!! The service was perfect and they accommodated our party of 9 perfectly. I had the Shrimp Gabardina…. Oh oh oh this was soooo delicious!!! All the flavors melted together to create a masterpiece for my mouth!!! The shrimp stuffed with chihuahua cheese wrapped in bacon and sautéed in a tequila sauce served with roasted green bell peppers and rice is the perfect combination for an unforgettable savory meal. The portions are big and definitely worth every penny. We will be going back for this meal again!
I went to Jalapeño Loco this past weekend, and it was a GREAT experience. First, we only went because of the reviews I read. Trust and believe, the reviews were correct. The service is impeccable. The gentleman and young lady at the front entrance who greeted us were so kind and gracious. We got seated, and our waitress was excellent. She checked on us numerous times and was so accommodating. The food was amazing, and the drinks were delicious as well. The decor is so rich, and the atmosphere is very inviting. The place was packed, and I now understand why. Keep up the good work!!! I will definitely be back . . .
Absolutely love this place! The service is helpful and attentive without hovering. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I've been here many times over the years and feel bad I'm just getting around to reviewing. Also, they take food allergies very seriously. I have celiac, even a tiny bit of gluten makes me massively sick. I've never gotten sick here and the wait staff or person I'm ordering takeout from always double checks with the chef about my order to make sure it is safe.
I am traveling here for work. Someone I met last night said this was a great place, so decided to try since it was a mile from where I am staying. OMG, I don't like margaritas and I'm not a fan of Mexican, but this place is the bomb! Watching the bartender make a drink, I asked what it was, basil cucumber margarita, two later, I am in love. This bartender knows his stuff! Had the soup de lime, omg, just do it. Then ordered the tacos campechanos, to die for. If this restaurant was in my neighborhood, I would frequent it. The staff is amazing! This was a definite win!

Tried this place for the first time.. It was wonderful! The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is very nice. Great service and food! I'll definitely come back here to try some of their other plates/specials

So, so gooood!! We got everything on there “special”menu and it was delicious! I wish I lived closer. Recommend to those who love authentic Mexican❤️
Absolutely love this place. Its a tradition to hit up this place before we take off on an airplane. They have amazing food and drinks. Bartender/Server was very attentive. One of his favorites is carne asada; and oh man he was beyond happy with his meal. I had a taco special and thought is was great! Complimentary chips and salsa to start you off! Cant say enough good things about this place. Definitely will be back and will continue to recommend and bring friends I'm traveling with!
