The Hard Shell - Bellgrade

My husband and I went for our anniversary. I had to adjust our reservations a few times and they were very accommodating. Food was delicious and our waitress was great. The manager was also attentive and even offered dessert and champagne on the house as a anniversary gesture. It was a great Dining experience. We will definitely be back!!

We came here for brunch on Saturday. Since we were in the mood for seafood we ordered the crab dip, the Maine lobster and the shrimp & scallops. They had a patio but we decided to dine in. Our food didn’t take long to come out. The restaurant had a lovely aesthetic which felt fresh yet modern. I especially enjoyed the natural sunlight and foliage visible from the large windows on the walls. As for our food, everything was delicious. Even the rice and salad. Since their entrees were so good, we decided to get dessert as well. The crème brûlée was tasty and topped with some strawberries. If you like seafood and brunch, then this is an excellent place to try.

It was our first dinner at THS. Superb on every front. Reservations from open table easy. Seated quickly. Water right away. Appetizer ordered and came quickly. Dinner cocktails were delicious. Parm Truffle Fries were so good. Shrimp & Scallops for me and Fish Tacos for my husband. Both amazing! Service outstanding. All that in 1.15 hours. Perfect evening. We will be back. Thank you.

Our reservation got messed up and an available table was given to a couple that arrived after we did even though we had a reservation. We happened to see friends who invited us to join them, otherwise we would have left. It took about 30 minutes for us to get drinks. Once our food came my wife was disappointed. She ordered a salad and added shrimp. There were 3 shrimp on the salad - a bad value! I wanted a special that had a sauce I did not care for. I asked the waiter if they could substitute a different sauce or put the sauce on the side. He declined to consider my request. I got something else. Have never had a bad experience here before, but tonight was not good.
