A nice cozy pub in a century-old former downtown bank building. Great service, outstanding menu with lots of Irish influence, local and Irish beers on tap in addition to the regular national brews. I highly recommend The Brass Door for either a nice evening visit or a tasty lunch. Oh, and they have a terrific looking Irish breakfast that they serve all the time. We'll definitely be back!

We went for the World Cup England/Sweden match as it was a 9am start and none of the sports bars would open in time. The service was superb! 15 out of 10 for our waitress! And the breakfast was delicious. It was such a great bar, we went back for the Russia /Croatia game later that day . The staff must have been shattered by 4pm, but the service remained excellent. Highly recommended.

Excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT!! From the food, to the staff, to the decor, and even the location,I have nothing but rave reviews about The Brass Door. It's an Irish restaurant that makes you feel at home no matter where you're from. As soon as I entered I felt as if I were coming home being greeted by lifelong friends. It was a very relaxed atmosphere but the food was on par with any fine dining establishment and the Irish options on the menu provided a uniquely Irish twist that certainly did not disappoint! The drinks from the bar were refreshing and not diluted and the staff from the front to the back of the house were honestly beyond reproach! Will I be back? You can guarantee that! And I'm telling everyone to please not make the mistake of overlooking this location on your next Memphis stop!

First time here and sire wish we had a few more days in town to come back. Morgan S was fantastic, she was very pleasant eventhough it was only her second day she did a fine job with our meal. I enjoyed the French Dip and my wife had the fish and chips. One really enjoyable feature was irish music. We have been in so many irish pubs and they play current pop music. I'm in an Irish pub I want to be transported to ireland.

The staff make the atmosphere here so welcoming and friendly. The Smethwicks Irish Ale is outstanding and we spent several happy hours here whilst holidaying in Memphis. The weekend breakfast menu is great and my husband said the Irish Stew was really good. I had The Brass Door burger and it was fantastic. Seamus the owner was so warm and friendly he made the bar an enjoyable place to be. If you would like a really warm Irish welcome The Brass Door is the place to visit.

Was in walking distance from the job and a coworker mentioned that they had good fish. Upon entering the place looked really small but my coworker said there was seating upstairs. While waiting to be seated (which was very short-a minute or 2) I couldn't help but notice that every seated was enjoying the "fish and chip" which from , at a glance, liiked delicious. The waited was extremely short, maybe a minute or two before we were very warmly by an Irish gentleman (later identified as the owner) who seated us. Everyone on my party ordered.. fish and chip....surprise!!! It came out quickly and let ne jut say, it was divine.3 pieces. Light and crispy on the outside and nice and flaky on the inside. The best fish i have tasted in a while. Needless to say, I am putting this one on the books to visit again. The ambiance was nice as well. The owner as well as another gentleman, checked on us regularly and the owner gave friendly conversation for a bit. Heard the Irish stew was delicious too 😋.

The atmosphere is perfect and reminiscent of a traditional Irish pub, the food was AMAZING best fish and chips anywhere! For being newly opened, the staff were knowledgeable and took great care to make sure our orders were correct and tasted great! Definitely will recommend! We brought in a group of 15 and the staff easily handled our orders with accuracy and precision.

Went in to watch Ireland play NZ in the world cup. We had 4 kiwis and a pub full of Irish! What a great welcome we had with Sheamus the owner getting us seats at the bar so we could watch the game. Great food and hospitality!! Entered as strangers, left as friends.

Great atmosphere! The fish & Chips is tasty with a plentiful amount of seasoned chips (fries) and a very tangy crunchy tartar sauce. The best corned beef sandwich I've had in Memphis in the 2 years we've been here. Each of the hamburgers I saw carried by looked amazing and so did the corned beef egg rolls. Great Irish draft beer selection - Swithwick's, Harp & Guiness - along with the usual excellent local craft brews. We joined the Memphis Mafia march 2 blocks to Autozone Park for the Memphis 901FC soccer match. They begin to rally the troops outside with a rousing song and then lead off with flags waving. Great service, great food, great atmosphere and local panache. We'll definitely be back!

Wonderful, warm, and hospitable! Real Irish charm and a great place to catch an English Premier League game. And the best Guinness I've ever had!

We loved the fish and chips! And now I know why the UK loves curry chips so much. Yummy! The bartender is awesome...despite being in an Irish Pub, she made me and my husband seriously good margaritas. And our thirteen year old son was pleased with his bowl of seafood chowder. Great first visit and we will definitely be back. Update: We have been back twice since our first visit. The reuben eggrolls are so tasty! Our last visit we tried the beer cheese and soft pretzel. Delicious, but they need more than two soft pretzel sticks considering how much cheese they give you. Of course the fish and chips have been excellent every time. I'm including a picture so you can see that it's a generous serving. The extra dollar for the curry sauce...I personally think it's worth it.

My partner and I were in town to checkout Graceland, and Beale street. We stumbled into this joint on a quiet Friday in between lunch and dinner rush, our bartender was Adam, we had great service, great local recommendations, and he was so friendly and attentive. The Rueben egg rolls were fire!! Thanks for making us midwesterners ( Columbus, Ohio) feel comfortable and welcome.
