I had a great dinner here tonight with my son. Our server (Julia) was so sweet and so good with my son. We had the macaroni beef soup which was really good. My son had noodles with Alfredo sauce and fries, I had the smothered sirloin and loaded baked potato and it also came with peas. The steak was good and cooked perfectly medium rare. The loaded baked potato had a ton of real bacon in it. Usually places just sprinkle a few bacon crumbs on top but this one was packed full. Dessert was giant slices of cheesecake and carrot cake. Both were great. We took home enough leftovers for dinner tomorrow night too.
I love GFR. They use REAL potatoes for the hash browns. I don’t think anything was frozen in that restaurant. Even with the place being packed the waitress was attentive and friendly. It’s my new favor place to eat.
Rectified a problem. I had placed an order for pick up earlier and it was messed up. George's actually called back in the evening to apologize for the mix up and offered a gift card for my trouble. I really appreciated the gesture to fix a problem. I will order from them again as it seems that they do care about issues that arise. Thank you George's.

Stopped in twice, sat later morning and sunday early morning. Both days we had wonderful service, but the coffee and hashbrowns were definitely better on Sunday than Saturday. Only downside was chilly with the air on, and bathroom floors were very sticky and could smell faint odor of sewer. Average cost for the three of us 40 to 45 per visit. Not an over abundance of food but enough that you left feeling full.
Everything was great! The inside was updated and decorated very nicely. Our waitress was very friendly and got everything to us quickly. There were lots of food options for both adults and children. We all loved our food!

Update Sept 2021: Finally went in to eat instead of doing take out only. The inside is so nicely remodeled and all of the wait staff was so friendly and kind!! I had the kettle creations with lemon soup and the side salad. I think getting it with the side salad instead of half a sandwich makes it a bit expensive for what you get since for a few dollars more I could have had an entire meal with my soup and salad but I wasn't too hungry and it did the job. Their side salad is just delicious. It's my favorite of all restaurant side salads so you'll never go wrong with either soup or salad here.
Update: back again because we just can't get enough!! If you can't decide between breakfast and dinner, get the monte cristo!! It's the best I've ever had!!! I wish it came with a small container of syrup though because it made it that much better. Perfectly cooked French toast with a huge stack of ham and cheese. Plus a side and a soup/salad!! My husband got a bacon cheeseburger that looked amazing!!
My family has eaten several different meals here and for the most part they have always been amazing! You get SO much food for your money. My favorite item is the French onion burger. It comes in under $10 dollars (as of March 2021) and you get a massive burger cooked just right, a soup or salad (their salads are the best!) and a side (I always go for the battered onion rings that don't cost extra!) Their taco salad is also a huge favorite of mine. Their online ordering can be a bit confusing as they don't always update their daily soups so it's better to call in and get the correct information. The employees have always been kind and welcoming. Since my family moved here during the pandemic we have not dined in yet, we just order to go. They have never messed up an order and our food is always piping hot when we get home!!
We LOVE GFR! Staff is super nice, attentive, and always gives great recommendations if I’m torn on a dish. We haven’t had anything bad here, everything has been made fresh and to order. I also love the vibe the whole place gives off - i feel like family here!
Eat here. Expansive menu, terrific food, and LARGE servings. We have eaten there twice, 3 years apart while visiting relatives. Was impressed the first time, and decided to go back. Not disappointed! They did a great job with adapting my order due to food restrictions.

We liked this place. We came here on a Friday afternoon around 2pm; and it wasn’t busy at all. Masks were optional. I ordered Eggwich (two scrambled eggs, toasted croissant, bacon, avocado, red onion, swiss cheese, served with breakfast potatoes) Instead of breakfast potatoes, I asked for onion rings. I just wish they could give me more onion rings. 😀 The food was good and we will be back.
I LOVE this place. The food is amazing, the service is always great and the owners are very nice. They have different kinds of soup everyday and all of them are very good. I highly recommend this place. It family friendly has wheelchair access
Our waitress was GREAT!! We loved her ❤. Friday lunch was a Reuben and Tater tots. As always, a generous portion of the Turkey Manhattan for my husband. Everything was DELICIOUS!! THANK YOU!!
