Not the BEST, but pretty good! Loved the lemon chicken soup!!!! I'd go back just for that! The waiter was very friendly and social!!
Dishes to avoid. I loved this restaurant the first time I ate there. Everything we tried was great. The second time, not so much. On the assumption they weren't just having a bad night since everything else at our table was good, here is my list of things to avoid:
Lamb kebob - no flavor and overcooked
Chicken kebob - ok taste but also overcooked
boureka - dry
rice - bland
Lemon 'chicken' soup - lemon-flavored orzo mush, no discernable pieces of chicken
This is most of the Sampler Platter, so avoid that combo.
The waitress asked if everything was ok so I told her the above. She said she would tell the manager but no one came over to say anything.
Love it! Best salads ever and chicken skewers are to die for! Best service and really relaxing!
Amazing! Food was very fresh!
Great food falafel was a little dry but still good
We loved it here! The food was so yummy, the vibe was super cute and homey, and our server Amanda was THE BEST! She knew exactly what to recommend and was so sweet and welcoming. She needs a raise STAT!
Fresh foods. Good variety for tasty vegetarian & meat dishes. Some options a bit pricey for the portions Compared to other similar local eateries that’s why the 4 stars. But a good local stop for healthier options. Food is consistent overall. Recent sit in visit had a friendly & knowledgeable server.
June 2022 Update:
Title: (Yes I Still Recommend This Place, But I’ll Be Drooling Over The Menu From Afar)
Still really like the food here, but ouch ordered a horataki salad $12 with grilled chicken $7 added total $19 Added babaganoush (however that’s spelled) It’s just an eggplant dip. $12 up $2 more than before & we already thought it was pricey for the portion. Optional but not necessary Extra pita 1 portion $2 up from $1.
The salad fresh, delicious & healthy but really just good enough for one meal. Plus the babganoush (again please excuse the spelling) portion can be an appetizer for 2 or a light meal for one. Illustrating that for $33 for one meal is, at least for our family, pricey. And that’s not all we ordered so it was very expensive for 2 people for a casual dinning eatery for lunch on a Tuesday.
Overall yes I still recommend this place, however for my family & I, we cannot eat here as often as we would like or have in the past for all the economic reasons gas prices, food prices at the market etcetera. Whatever the reasons are economic, political, pandemic, climate change the buck always gets passed down to the customer so I’ll be drooling over the menu from afar 😢
This is a small little restaurant with amazing food. The service was excellent and everything came in a timely manner. I thought the food was delicious and the prices were good. I live in northern California and now I will come eat here everytime I visit my mom. I highly recommend this place for great authentic Greek food at excellent prices.
Went here for lunch with a friend. It was my first time and I got the Chicken Souvlaki Plate "Kabob" and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken is perfectly marinated and cooked. The hummus and pita was amazing. I will definitely be back for more!
The waiter was so nice it was our first time there and the food was soooooo good and fresh! 10 out of 10 would recommend!
Great food, great service, great value. I've been coming back to this place since around '97 because no matter how far I move. I still crave the Avgolemono soup after all this time. Good place for a date too. Treat yourself!
One of the best Greek salads I've ever had - fresh ingredients and huge portions. The tzatziki was creamy and so flavorful...highly recommended. Tammy was very accommodating - she was open and very friendly. Definitely going back next time I'm in the area.
