Porta Via Palisades

We went here right after getting married and were waited on by Alejandro. What a wonderful person to get us started and bring us some much needed drinks! The cocktails were very intricate and super tasty! We had a mushroom soup and a mushroom - arugula salad topped with Parmesan cheese. Both were great. Also, the Burrata and tomatoes were equally fantastic. Finished off with a celebratory crustless cheesecake and called it a day! We sat outside even thought it was cold and wet outside, but the staff turned on a heater for us and the perimeter also had heating that was on even before we arrive. We were the only two outside, but it was perfect because it was private and intimate! Overall, a cozy and relaxing spot. Would like to revisit for sure!

This is the first time that we are dining here, and I have to say that we really enjoyed our lunch here. We were visiting the area on Monday with a guest from London, and decided to have lunch here. The sitting area outside is not big, but beautiful. The food was delicious! Everything we ordered was top-notch, very tasty, high quality. The service was excellent (handsome guy with blue eyes), the manager (nice young lady that looks like Halsey :-) ...) was very attentive, great energy with a welcoming smile. We really had a great time here. Excellent restaurant in a very nice neighborhood.

This place is a must-do. Saw a Movie next door and as long as you're there before 9:00 you can get a meal. Fantastic lake Michigan (we are from traverse City) white fish with the best lemon butter mustard sauce you'll have in your life. And fantastic pasta with bolognese. Service was top notch as well.
