Sorrento's Pizza House

Sorrento’s is a long time legendary South Shores San Pedro restaurant. I came with my family as a child, and every time I visit it evokes great memories. I recently popped in for an early lunch, and ordered the baked Manicotti from their Lunch Special menu. My server knew I was vegetarian, and they changed the sauce from meat to tomato for me. Their tomato sauce is DELICIOUS! It comes with garlic bread. I also ordered the dinner salad which is always cold crisp and delicious. I love the kidney and garbanzo beans on top, and the blue cheese dressing is really good. The original owners have left, but the longtime chef and manager now runs Sorrentos. I love supporting local small businesses. Parking is free and easy in the lot.

I usually order to take dinner home but this time my husband and I sat down inside to eat. The food was delicious and the service was great. All the employees are very personable. You can tell they wanted to make sure we were happy patrons. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat authentic itallian food for a really great price. I recommend the cheese pizza, scampi over angel hair pasta or the hot beef dip. Those are our favorites.

I could smell the food walking up. The gabagool was fresh! 🤌The veal was succulent and tender. The egg plant, not greasy and perfectly paired with a zesty marinara. The crew at Sorrento's took our large group (10 men) and sat us almost immediately. Excellent service, fast drinks, wonderful food and an old school atmosphere give Sorrento's my highest recommendations for a delicious destination dinning experience in San Pedro.
