We love going here for lunch as we love shrimp. So the numerous options that are offered around fish and seafood are amazing. The service is great and the restaurant concept is a good one. Great place and I would recommend it for lunch.
Pleasantly surprised
We ended up here after a long day at Universal. Yes it’s a cheesy themed place, but we were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the food which was delicious. Service was friendly too.
After a tiring adventurous visit to the universal studios and a starving stomach we enjoyed the food very delicious, this was my second time visiting this restaurant and it really gave a wonderful experience, loved it
2016-06-02 2nd Dinner :) We ate here for the first time. It is what it is, don't expect really any healthy options, but do expect deep fried and messy. It was pretty good, I did think the shrimp would have been a larger count. I hate shelling little shrimp. Would have liked to try a pasta, but they don't seem like they would be exceptionally exclusive to Bubba Gump. But our service was pretty good and the food was good for what it was. Probably won't go back as there are better shrimp joints out there and the wait was over an hour for a table. It is a popular place I guess :)

The best seafood restaurant I've ever been. It's just perfect to stop here after a intense day at the Universal Park and the City Walk.
You need to try the shrimps! If not, you will be missing let's say 80% of the restaurant.

Loved!. Loved this place!!!! After a long day we needed more sustenance so stopped in during our City Walk tour. I actually got the sampler for my entree, it had the BEST hush puppies I've ever had, two sorts of shrimp and some spicy chicken tenders. My husband and sister also said theirs was quite good. Being a former server they have the BEST little system of flipping a sign over when you need something, smart! Also, mini movie trivia at the end... would of been better if we had gotten a discount for getting all the answers right! :)
Like it! Bubba gump is always good. But I think the protion is smaller then usual... Still love it!
Such a fun experience! Gotta try the fish and chips a bit pricy but well worth it. The waitress will play forest gump trivia with your table if you're lucky!
Loved it! We went one night for food...another night for the nice stuff to make us fat! If you go you have to ask for Mario! He is a great server and made it so much fun!
I like this place, very upbeat atmosphere. We had a Shrimp Sampler and a chicken salad entree; both were good. Shrimp Sampler let you try shrimps cooked in different ways, I liked the coconut shrimp most. Server showed up as soon as the sign "Stop Forrest Stop" was pulled, great idea!!!
One of the best places to try some really tasty seafood dishes.. we really enjoyed dining here. The staff is friendly and helpful. Loved the atmosphere. The portion size is good. My favourite is the New Orleans shrimp dish.
Visited the place during lunch time when were not many visitors in there. Waited for our black coffees for 10 minutes. Soups were ready in 30 minutes and the main dish 10 arrived minutes after that. There were no knives for the main dish. The food is delicious though! The chef is cool👍🏻, the staff could have been better 😐
First of all the food was absolutely delicious! It is my 3rd time here and I am always satisfied with the food and service. Our server was kind and very attentive to our needs. We were seated pretty quickly maybe less than 5 minutes even though it was pretty packed. Our appetizers arrived in 10 minutes or so and by the time we were done with them our food was out. All in all I had a fun and pleasant experience here I definitely recommend the the appetizer tower if you love shrimp.
Absolutely LOVE Bubba Gump. This location is beautifully located in CityWalk, there’s tons of seating inside -however it is a little cramped. The food on the other hand is always made to perfection in my experience with this chain. Their cocktail drinks are so sweet and yummy!! They really know how to bring the flavor and fun! Waitresses were very attentive to our needs. Perfect for when your family or group of friends want a bite!
The food was good. Our server was odd. My husband asked for the grilled chicken sandwich. She took the rest of the orders and then asked how he wanted the chicken. He told her grilled. She returned to the table a few minutes later asking what chicken sandwich he wanted..... He received a fried chicken sandwich. 🫣 The AC was on full blast. It was so cold 🥶 that I had to buy my son a sweater because we were dressed for the hot day and he was in there shivering.
The gift shop is attached to the restaurant. There was no wait to get in.
The atmosphere is laid back and loud. Kids won't interrupt anything here. The kids meal food came on a cute boat. The dessert was amazing.
Service here was excellent, our waiter was so funny and friendly. The food is also really delicious - I got the plant based burger and prawn Mac and cheese. Both were really yum!
I finally went to bubba's. Ever since I was a kid I wanted to go but my family said no it's expensive.
Finally yesterday I went and I enjoyed it! However I'm only giving the food a 4/5 because... The menue felt small to me I thought there would be more, and the steak with shrimp pretty pricey compared to other places Ive been to with the same flavor.
The atmosphere of this place made up for it. I only waited 15 mins or less for a table and the waiters were hecka friendly.
I love how some menue items have names of characters from the forest Gump movie. All in all my experience there was amazing.
This was our first time ever dining at a Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. location and it did not disappoint! We loved how well everything was themed from the decor, to the menu, even how you got your waiter’s attention! We started off with some shrimp from the appetizer menu. Very well seasoned and juicy shrimp. For dinner I got the shrimp scampi (amazing) and Lieutenant Dan’s Surf and Turf. We even ordered a few drinks and got to take home a souvenir glass! We highly recommend you stop by after a long day at Universal.
I've never been to Bubba Gump before. After a long day of visiting Universal Studios, we needed a proper meal. Our server, Robbie, was great. We had an appy, Across America platter. It was OK. The spinach dip could have been more warm. My wife and I had the Bourbon St Mahi and Shrimp. It was so good. The fish was cooked perfectly. The potatoes were so good, swiped through the sauce on the plate. It was very tasty. My dad had the jambalaya, and he said it was very good as well.
After a long day being in the Universal Studios, we decided to go here for dinner. It was my first time and they were super busy but we were seated almost immediately. Ordered jambalaya and some sort of fried mix of everything seafood. The jambalaya was uh-mazing!! There were 2 tables celebrating birthday and the staff would come to the table and sing for you. It was a great experience as it was my first time in Bubba Gump Shrimp. Loved the movie, loved the food!
