Awesome organic natural foods store. I've been to a lot of great co-ops and health food stores but this one really goes the extra mile. Excellent selection of all the good stuff one expects to find in a place like this, but you can also find more obscure raw, wildcrafted, and other tasty and healthy goodies. The salad bar and prepared foods counter are also the best I've found in L.A. I drive out of my way just to go there regularly.
The best food you will find anywhere a bit pricey but if you want the best this is the place. Erewhon is an organic supermarket that is as authentic as you can get this particular one is located next to Television City in West Hollywood. Love food shopping here when I want the best food available!
My OCD had a great time in the store because wow, everything is stacked up so neatly. Yes, the prices are sometimes ridiculous but some things were also reasonable. You can find a lot in the store and truly for any kind of diet restrictions (a lot of dairy free options which is a plus for me)

During our time in LA, I was eager to visit Erewhon based on all the positive reviews I had heard. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The Erewhon at The Grove location was an absolute gem. Impeccably clean, well-organized, and stocked with an amazing selection of organic products, Erewhon branded items, and a mouthwatering prepared food section that even included sushi.
One item that stood out to me was the Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie, which I couldn't resist ordering for $19. Let me just say, it was worth every penny. In addition to the smoothie, I also picked up some delectable prepared food items to take home. From the Japchae Konjac Noodles to the Keto Coconut Panna Cotta, Keo Salmon Belly Cakes, Kep Noodle Chow Mein, No Rice Spicy Cucumber Rolls, and even some wet cat food and mint tea, everything tasted absolutely divine. My total grocery bill came to $97, which I felt was reasonable considering the quality and variety of the food.
Speaking of prices, I must say that Erewhon's prices are quite fair. They are on par with what you'd find at Whole Foods, and given the exceptional quality, I have no complaints. The only thing that caught me off guard were the prices of their tote bags. I hoped to snag a large Erewhon grocery tote bag, but when I saw the price tag of $150 for the larger size and $50 for the smaller one, I decided to pass.
Overall, my shopping experience at Erewhon was a delight, and I can't wait to visit again if I'm in the area. I hope a location opens up in San Diego sometime in the future.
We visited this restaurant to try the Erwon Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie. It was a really nice smoothie, but for the price, it definitely is not something we will repeat again. The store itself was very large and busy. They have a great variety of options. We saw Dev Patel there, so that was a bonus to run into him.
It's insanely expensive and even more pretentious but it's a lot of fun to walk around and people watch in this very upscale grocery store. You will have to try at least one or two things and the $20+ smoothies will probably fit the bill. Lots of fun imported and local snacks as well that won't break the bank. Service is (not surprisingly) helpful even though the place is very small.

We shop often at Whole Foods, Bristol farms, Gelsons and Lazy acres so we are comfortable with high-end pricing
The staff is friendly and very helpful in finding the right food. They explained that the food was more expensive because it was all top level, organic, and well- cooked with good cooks making the food.
The parking is easy.

This is a high end shopping experience, and the food items are neatly stocked and many employees to assist you.
Parking was free up to 60 min, in an underground parking lot. The spots are very close, so do not park here if claustrophobic.
I had a pie and cream, and it was good but not great. I was happy with my salsa though, a Smoked salsa for my tacos.
The bathroom is large,and clean, but was missing paper towels. I didn't like that it's right off the main isle, near the coffee bar. I would appreciate a false wall, just to hide the bathroom entrance.

Overall a Erewhon is killing the health food market. The few cons I found are at the bottom of this review. First for the highlights.
Erewhon has a selection like no where else. So many gems and not enough time when it comes to brands. Quality seems pretty clear as well. When it comes to reading ingredients of each item you can tell Erewhon is trying to source great options. The only other store I have seen try this hard is going to be CO-OP market on the west side.
Customer service is on point when it comes to checking out. You can get in and out pretty fast compared to
Most stores.
My only cons are with some of the pre-made sandwiches and other food. All the food looks amazing, and the ingredients are even better. However the sandwiches and some of the food lack flavor. For example I have tried most of the sandwiches which are made from the rotisserie chicken they make in store. But it lacked flavor. This location also only has one Bathroom and it was not clean. Lastly I had a hard time finding anyone in the isles. Everyone working there seem to be concentrated in one area. Lastly the price is very high for everything in store. You are paying triple on most things.
Very upscale. Expensive. Definitely worth a trip to explore. Smoothies are exceptional

Maximum shopping and security. Apple store with trees, AMC Movie Theater on site. Fountains, statues and a trolley complete the festive ambience.
