Wanted a chopped beef sandwich but, they were out. I got the ribs instead and was not impressed. Also, the two tablespoons of potato salad was a joke.

Our first time at Carter's and it met all our expectations and more. We ordered the ribs and sliced brisket. Both were among the best that we have eaten. They had a wonderfully smoky flavor and weren't dried out. Portions were very generous and well worth the price. If this review was helpful, please "like" it.

I Love Carter's Bar-B-Que!
But the only issue that I would have is, if you're sitting in this long line waiting to be served by the people that comes to your car and placing your order and they tell you that they ran out of a specific food and you've been waiting for the longest to taste those ribs and then they come to your car and say that we are out of ribs and chicken. I just feel that when they get low of any food item, they should let everyone know that they are either low or the are already out, so we won't have to seat in the line for that long.

Country store atmosphere, friendly staff, great bbq, clean bathroom (although small) we will be back for more!

We've drove by for 2-3 weeks and everyday no matter the time there was always a line wrapped around this restaurant. That line made us wonder about how good it must be. Well let me tell you Carter knows BBQ!!!!
Best I ever ate.... Don't want bbq from anywhere else. Oh and that line is so worth the wait and it actually moves pretty quick. Thank you for the wonderful bbq experience.
