One of the best Mexican food restaurants in Lafayette. The chips and salsa are awesome just like the service. If you are hungry and in a hurry, this is the place to go. Before you can finish the first basket of chips, your food is on the table!

I have my own waiter when I go!! Alfonso!! He's the best, I get a #65 with chicken instead of shrimp, no beans extra rice with cheese on top!! He knows my order before I tell him!! He always has a smile and is so nice!! Great food, good smile and great service is hard to find, but not when we go here!!
I come here often. The prices are low, the food is good, and the service is excellent. Hacienda is a place you can take anyone. They can handle large groups and still maintain quick, good service.
To all the people who didn't like this place or haven't tried it, get the Nachos Locos. Best thing on the menu. I promise you'll thank me later.

Great food. Great price. Great service! Happy hour ALL DAY EVERY DAY! 2 for 1 margaritas and daquiris. Very good margaritas (never tried the daquiri). Fajitas are probably the best deal. The fajitas for one easily feeds two people WITH leftovers!!

What to get: Taqitos are outstanding. They are little tortillas wrapped around tender flavorful shredded white chicken then topped with a small amount of white cheese sauce. Tacos are good too.
Pros: excellent service. And while La Pagua is the best Mexican restaurant in Lafayette and one of the best restaurants period, La Hacienda takes my award for best Tex Mex.
Cons: this location used to be a fast food joint. And although the owners have done a really nice job with the decor, you just can't help but feel like you're in a fast food restaurant, which is kind of a turn off for me.
If you like Tex Mex you won't be disappointed by this place.
This is the most consistent food from any Mexican restaraunt we have eaten at. Have eaten there many times and we have never had a complaint. So much food, such a good price!
La Hacienda (The real one!) has always been top notch food and service since they were across by Walmart. The margaritas are good and you definitely can't beat the 2 for 1 !
Hacienda Real Mexican Restaurant & Cantina has been one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Lafayette for years. My favorite meal with them is the Chicken Mole with a dark sauce infused with Mexican chocolate. It is hard to find and they do a great version of it. I don't get it this time, but also pictured is the Enchilada Supreme plate. With Chicken, Cheese, Beans, and beef with Queso on top. My picture doesn't do the food justice.
We went after lunch but before dinner. Big and airy space but beautiful decor and large, clean parking. Our waiter was great and really nice with the kids. Food was delicious and super huge portions.
My friend took me there and we had dinner and it was good. The waiter was pleasant and courteous. It just took us a minute to make up our minds as to what we wanted to eat and he understood. The atmosphere was good and at the time we were there it was easy to get in without the crowd. The food I ordered was delicious and hers also. We enjoyed ourselves and the service was great all around.
We’ve been to the new location a few times and the food and service is always good. With the exception of today 09/12/23. Went today for dinner with friends, the food quality is not what it usually is the taste was off. I also ordered my soda with no ice, but received ice. The waiter we had wasn’t very prompt or friendly, when we received our check instead of a itemized list of items and prices we received a calculator tape with out total. We also didn’t receive a thanks for dining or anything. Very disappointed!!
Very good and tasty food. It is authentic Mexican food. The staff is mostly family, and they provide great service. Regulars are treated like family.I had the beef taquitos plate and 2 marguaritas. I also like the chiles rejeno plate. They will be opening a new restaurant called Hacienda Real just down the street, toward Johnston. The same people from La Hacienda will work there, and the food quality will remain the same. Look for the grand opening in about 4 weeks.
The food and prices are great. I'm not sure why but out of every Mexican restaurant I go to this is the only one that makes my stomach sick. It's great for those who can eat there and handle the food.

We love LUIS!!! They have been a family favorite since the day they opened. Nacho locos are everything, the Yolandas, fried fish, so many things. Service is always good and the margaritas are the best in own.
Pretty good little Mexican restaurant. The food was good, at a reasonable price. Absolutely nothing fancy here, but the food is good. Looks like you would find in Mexico.
