One of my favorite spots in downtown. The lentil soup is always so delicious and flavorful. Sandwiches are always fresh. I've tried nearly everything on the menu and my only complaint is the Greek salad with chicken - ground chicken on a salad just doesn't work imo
People are always shocked to learn that the best sandwich in Lafayette isn’t a poboy, but one of Nabil // Cedar’s. Don’t forget to add a kibbi- and admire the beautiful owner-painted artwork. Delicious, friendly, always worth it
We are so lucky to have Nabil Loli’s, Cedar Grocery and Deli in Lafayette. The food is authentic and ingredients are high quality. Nabil and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. I always enjoy eating here.
Nabil Loli, the owner of this Lafayette Syrian/ Lebanese deli, is a first rate person of impeccable character. This eatery is a Lafayette institution. Go for the gyro, grape leaves, or Hummus. Don't forget the Hummus... It's the real deal . And is some of the best in town.
Also, if your lucky, you'll get to place your order with Mr. LOLI HIMSELF. who is also quite the accomplished artist and painter. But whatever you do make sure you treat this local with the respect he so greatly deserves. Because if he is not shown respect them I will take it as a personal affront. And then you'll have to deal with.... Well... Noone... Because I'm a peaceful understanding person. And we'll... Sometime we all just have a bad day. But if you want a 5 star experience from a 5 star native son, by way of Damascus Cyria, then head to Cedar Delli and get your Greek on.. Woopwoop
Tasty authentic, but not too good for gluten-free folks.
Kind staff and great food. A nice getaway from your typical cajun plate lunch fare. Welcoming dining area as well.

Amazing service, delicious sandwiches, GREAT prices! Passing through Lafayette and the energy here was top notch. It seems like it is a popular spot and I understand why! The owner Nabil was genuine, attentive, and kind. I had the Tandoori Chicken sandwich and it was phenomenal. Spices and flavoring were perfect.

The food is just as good as it has always been from this iconic Lafayette staple. The menu hasn't changed in forever and with good reason. No need to change perfection. Can't wait to go back!!!
