I have been to Chuy's twice. The first time I had a great California Burrito. Today I ate a delicious burrito that had ham, egg, potatoes, and cheese. Everything was great! When you visit this spot you get both quality and quantity. The breakfast burrito was huge! They also have a good variety of salsas to choose from. The customer service was great as well. The people at the counter have been helpful and friendly. I can't wait to come back and try some fries. Eat up!!!
Got the California burrito. Personally it wasn’t for me or my taste buds. Felt like there was no flavour, the salsa stand made up for it though! Was able to add more spice into the burrito.
I heard you might have to get the fries extra crispy while ordering cali burrito. Other then that good portion size. I had to share with someone, couldn’t finish eating the burrito myself
I actually took my food to go so I cannot speak as much to their service or atmosphere but the burrito I got was fantastic. Although, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I ordered the Cali surf and turf burrito, the thing was huge and absolutely loaded! (Avocado for scale 😂)
I would recommend this place for their burritos and look for forward to trying other items from their menu.
I found this place via Instagram and read the reviews and was like "ok I have to try this place" it's about 20 miles from me but I figured what the heck, it's Sunday and most places by me were closed. I wanted a breakfast burrito 🌯 and the reviews said this was the place for just that, so I got the sausage breakfast burrito and added beans to it. While I feel the charge to add beans was a little much making it just at 14 dollars, that's how I like my burrito, so if I'm gonna try it, let's do it right. All I have to say is that was one of the BEST breakfast burritos I have had! I will have to go back some time to try other menu items and see if everything is as good as this was. The hot sauce was amazing. They offer 4 different sauces that I saw, maybe more? I was blown away. For sure, if you have not gone here, you need to try it at least twice, in my opinion.
Update, I have been back multiple times. The California burrito is amazing, the Carne Asada burrito is amazing, and the rice is delicious! The guacamole has no onion and tomato, so for me, that's perfect as I don't like Pico, and onion gives me bad heartburn. The prices are in line with every other place I have been and I feel you get more food for your money here. I'm so glad to have found this place!
A hole in the wall in the strip mall that always delivers on food. haven’t said that the salsa was not edible, very sour as if it was spoiled.
This place has legitimately the best Mexican food I have ever put in my mouth. We ordered a burrito, loaded fries and Carne asada tacos. Wow. Absolutely fantastic. The blend of guacamole, meat, cheese, cilantro and pico was fantastic. This was our favorite stop in all of California. The only bummer is there isn't a location in Orlando. Will absolutely be back the next time we are in San Diego.
At first, I was thinking this place is too expensive. Then, when I saw the portion sizes (totally shareable) it made it worth the price. $57 for a family of 4 to eat is pretty expensive. Sounded like they had daily specials with reduced prices though.
I mean, food was good but we likely won't go back. Way too many other places to check out in the area.
This place came highly recommended by my friend who was born, raised and practiced medicine in TJ; and it has a Guy Fieri stamp of approval. Both of those are saying something about this place. It’s good authentic Mexican food.
We love the size of the chips. You chose the meat and the pile of chips gets covered in cheese, Mayo, guacamole, and meat. Two types of cheese are used, cheddar and cotija. If I must put in a complaint, the chips end up being a bit too salty, and I think it’s dye to the cheese. You can cut down the salt by using salsa, still it’s a bit too much salt for my taste. The upside is that it’s never finished, tons of food for more than two people. My son and I usually share, and we cannot finish this dish.
The fries are amazing. I don’t know how they make them, but they are wow! The kids Bean and cheese comes with fries, and there so much food my two little eaters can’t finish between the two of them.
Their salads are served in a Tostada bowl. Delicious and generous portions.
Their tacos are a bit pricey, but delicious and fresh. Not as good as Tacos El Gordo- but seriously, nothing else is. They are good and delicious.
The atmosphere is sparse, but it’s a large enough place to sit with your family and eat.
We like it and usually go once or twice pret year. It’s my sons favorite- he just loves the massive chips plate.

Run, don’t walk to this Taco Shop! Had the adobada plate and it was delicious. Meat was tender with a perfect amount of seasoning/marinade. Refried Beans and Rice finished the plate perfectly. Hubby had the sopes and the masa was cooked right…not overly greasy or crunchy. Staff was kind too. Thanks Chuy’s Tacos 🌮
The food here is amazing. They arent selfish with sauces either.
The quality of food is a1 and the portions are awesome. Cashiers are always so nice. They walk your food out to you. They always play the good stuff on their tvs too. I would highly recommend.
