Consuelo's Authentic Mexican Food

A very friendly and informative woman helped us. The food was prepared to order and had a better than average taste. As we just moved from Chula Vista, it did not come up to Don Diego's level, but did get close. In all, a very exceptable substitute. The Carne Asada quesadilla and California burrito traveled very well for the 10 minute drive home.

Very fast service I went Saturday afternoon around 6 pm the lady was super kind and suggested something for my kid who is a picky eater. The prices are reasonable I spent 24 dlls in 2 persons including drinks and much better than a hamburger fast restaurant . I have to say the beans are delicious and the quesadillas are big.

Few years ago one veggie burrito I ate here was enough reason for me to look for someplace else. It was basically cold ingredients slapped together with a side of attitude. I decided to give it another try, glad I did. While the $7-veggie burrito is nothing to rave about, it was well made and satisfactory. The salsa I tasted from the bar was one of the best. More importantly it is not overly crowded during lunch hour so no long wait times. While there are plenty seats inside, you can sit at one of the 2 tables outdoors if you are lucky.
