El Pollo Loco

I have coming for years, not anymore. The food quality and portions have change so much. This last experience was awful ordered chicken avocado burrito. They gave me the burrito without chicken and avocado inside.. I notice with the first bite so I ask them them to added. They kept insisting it was there. I open the burrito took it all apart. Then they said okay. Gave me in a salsa cup little bit of chicken and avocado. Horrible!!

I generally love El Pollo Loco. This particular location, however is pretty awful. The service is generally very slow. I've had inaccurate orders. The registers don't work right, which makes things take even longer. The general attitude of the employees is not great, probably because of all of the obstacles that they face with the defective equipment and annoyed customers. I've had bad experiences on the last several visits, and don't think I'll ever go to this location again.

Food and services are fine but don't bother placing online order and picking up there. When I tried to pickup there on time, I was told to wait 1 minute or two by the one who was busy packing food for instore orders. He was so busy that I was completely ignored for more than 5 minutes. Plus two minutes waiting patiently before I had a chance to let him know I was there to pickup online order. Finally the woman who's taking orders approached me when there's no one in the ordering line. I told her my name and showed her the order no. But she couldn't find the order. She then asked the other one behind me. She's also picking up online order. Her order was found in printed receipt but not prepared yet. After she fulfilled her order, she went back to those printed receipts and found my order. Eventually I got my order after 15 minutes of waiting. Online order was supposed to save time. In my case I was the last one to be served after all in store orders. What a joke of online order?

As usual the employees are brain dead. I ordered a 3 piece with breast rice and beans flour tortillas. When I got home no green sauce. No pico degallo. No tortillas. No napkins and one fork with the two middle times snapped off. I have never had a satisfying situation here and only went at my hubby request. We pay money but they treat you like they are giving it out of their own pantry. Alwayssssss terrible service at this location.

The five times that I've been to this location has been bad. The chicken is either not cooked well or the food is cold or the incorrect order was served. It's only out of convenience that I stop by and each time I do, I get so mad at myself for letting down my defenses. Why do other El Pollo Loco's serve such good food and this one can't even serve a warm churro.

I used to love el pollo loco as a child. Through the years their food quality has gone way down including chicken that is cooked until it is completely dry, rice and beans that have no flavor and tortillas that have been sitting out all day because they are in edible. There are way better places to get a family meal of chicken than here.

Asked for extra salsa in the drive through and was given no salsa. I then asked again and was given a couple of green salsas and one salad dressing. Finally I went inside to get the salsa myself, hoping to also get cilantro. Disappointingly, the cilantro holder was empty. Not to mention, their bean/rice burritos went from $1 to almost $2 in just a few years.

This is the nearest El Pollo Loco to my house and often go here, there isn't too much to complain about. I just have never had a 'great' experience here. The food is always ok, and sometimes the food can take a while, despite hardly anyone being in the restaurant. Sometimes theres food on the table, or the trash can is full.
