My Wife and I love to eat here. Their fried shrimp is the best I've had in a very long time. I also love their breakfast. It's simple eggs bacon or sausage done right. They even know enough to bring the hot sauce to the table with my eggs. The service is always prompt and polite. All the while you get to listen to some of the best music ever made. One of our favorite places to eat.

First time there and we really enjoyed it. Waitress was super sweet and attentive. Food was good. I had a cheese omelet, dad had western and bf had steak and eggs. It's really 4.5 stars, but of course it won't let me give that. Hot coffee and quick service. Prices were good, too. There's a cute little shop to buy souvenirs on the way out. Definitely would go back.
Excellent breakfast restaurant in the Kill Devil Hills area. We were welcomed by friendly staff and were seated right away. I had the Nor'easter - eggs, sausage, cheese and home fries over biscuits and covered with gravy. It's as much food as it sounds like and it was very good. The coffee was excellent as well. Our server may have been new but the rest of the staff was very helpful in making sure we were taken care of. There's a small gift shop with some souvenir items and Henry's signature coffee for sale on your way out.
Henry's is a staple of kitty hawk.. some of the best seafood around and unlike some restaurants, the food is generous in portions and I promise you will be full afterwards. The food is cooked perfectly it was amazing .. Tammy, our waitress was on top of her game with perfect timing with her service and she is a local and can give you great information on the area .. we love coming here each year and will be back next year ..
We stopped in on vacation, and we chose Henry’s because of the good pricing on the seafood!! My boyfriend got a fried seafood platter with green beans and slaw, and I got the trout with mashed potatoes + gravy and fried okra. We also got the potato skins as an appetizer. Tiffany was our server, and from the start she was phenomenal!! Kind, attentive, and quick with what we needed, she was awesome. The appetizer came out first and was delicious, and the food came out pretty shortly after. The food was good, but not great. We both got something fried, and while the taste was there, it was nothing to write home about. The breading tasted good but was not crunchy at all, leading me to wonder if it hadn’t sat a little. Most of it needed salt. The hushpuppies were some of the best I’ve had though, and the sides were all really good!! Unfortunately for what I spent after tip and tax I wouldn’t do it again.

After a nice night out in OBX, our group needed to get some breakfast in us before the day started. We stumbled upon Henry's Restaurant, so we gave it a try.
The Food: I went with the "Steak and Eggs" for my meal. I was looking for a big meal, and this did the trick. The steak was cooked nicely, although a little thin, it was tender and delicious. The eggs and hash browns were cooked to my liking as well. It comes with two pancakes as well, and that was good.
The Service: Service was great! came in on a busy morning so we put our names down and waited to be called outside. The staff were very friendly and attentive with our group, so that was nice.
The Atmosphere: Plenty of seating inside. Nice and homey.
Overall, a 5/5! The staff were friendly, the service was great, and the food was delicious. I'll be back for sure!
Henry's is the best breakfast restaurant in the Outer Banks. Every single item we have ever ordered has been fantastic. We come back to Henry's multiple times every time we make the trip to the Outer Banks.
Service is exceptional, atmosphere is exceptional, and the food is exceptional. Everything about Henry's is fantastic and it is a MUST visit any time you visit the Outer Banks.

Update: The following day I experienced symptoms of having too much MSG. We returned to the restaurant for another meal and asked if the coating on the fried items contains MSG. They replied that it does, so I had the broiled platter.
Everyone’s food was very good. We especially enjoyed the crab cakes, both broiled and fried.
This place was so awesome for breakfast that we ended up coming back for dinner on the same day! I'm so happy we picked this place to eat during our weekend getaway. We couldn't stop saying how delicious everything was! Our servers were also great and so kind and attentive to our needs. The bathrooms were clean. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and full of happy people with full bellies! My son ordered the Mozzarella Cheese Sticks both times because we loved them so much! They also have a cute gift shop at the checkout that had tons of goodies! Go check them out!
Very homely old-school restaurant, with a yesteryear vibe. Lovely! The food is good. If you get a seafood platter you have to take the crab cake. Delish! The wings are good, but the buffalo sauce turned out be more like bbq sauce. The she crab bisque is really 😋.
Delicious Crab Benedict! Loved this place.
We had to wait for 20 minutes, but it was worth it. Our server Lysandra M was awesome.
