Chance was a great waiter! He's the main reason we will go back soon. He took care of us like we were royalty. We live in Duck NC year-round. We've eaten at many restaurants on the Outer Banks. * Waiter: Named Chance. Outstanding waiter! * Cosmopolitan (drink): 3.5 Stars (Very well made. Difficult drink to make) * Vodka Martini, dirty with blue cheese olives (drink): 5 Stars, excellent. Had two of them. * Collards & Pulled Pork Egg Rolls Appetizer: 5 Stars (great starter) * Ribeye Steak: 4 Stars (Very good steak. There is no such thing as a 5 Star Steak, so this was excellent) * Ribs: 3 Stars (meat was a little dry, but good flavor) * Collards: 5 Stars (beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection) * Peas: 5 Stars (Excellent!) * Mashed Potatoes: 5 Stars (Great!) * Fresh Baked Bread: 5 Stars+ (Phenomenal!) WE WILL BE GOING BACK TO JK's SOON.

My favorite place to dine on the Outer Banks. Wait Staff and John are phenomenal....always. Wine selection is top notch. Dinner starts with warm bread and butter and always ends with a drink at the bar. Everything on the menu is delicious. My first choice is always the filet.

WOW!!! That was the best meal we have had since we moved to the area four years ago. Worth every penny and the service was stellar. Thank you Mark for an amazing experience. We will definitely return very soon.

My coworkers and I came to JK's Restaurant during a company retreat. From start to finish, our experience at JK's was memorable. Our server was very attentive and it was a pleasure meeting the owner, who came to our table to check on us. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a relaxing ambiance and a good culinary experience.

Man! What a treasure JK’s is. We were scrambling to find more of a fine dining experience at 8:40pm. JK’s closes at 9 so we weren’t sure if they would seem frustrated for us to arrive so late. Nope! They welcomed us with open arms! Fran was our server and she was wonderful. She made great recommendations, was on top of everything, and beyond friendly. The food?! Outstanding!!! That warm soft and crusty bread and butter? I’ll be dreaming about it. The rack of lamb and mashed potatoes were superb. The JK’s favorite - tenderloin and skewered shrimp was mind blowing. 5 stars ⭐️

Grand Slam home run with bases loaded, found our new favorite restaurant, service and food far exceeded our expectations. Such a great vibe, drinks were strong, food so simple but flavorful, just DELICIOUS and the atmosphere friendly and yet intimate. Loved our waitress Lisa!!! Can't wait to be back next summer. Even the owner walked us out asking how things went, such a friendly establishment. Only complaint is was it was a tad pricey.

Absolutely love this spot. Food is higher end and the quality reflects that. Definitely fills a void left by some of my favorite establishments that have closed. Flavorful and fresh.

I visisted JK's for the first time last night after hearing about it for several years from a Coworker. I ordered a prime rib medium well, with red mashed potatoes and collards a bowl of seafood soup, and baked oysters Rockefeller. The wait time was very short as it was off season but the place was still full of people. Our waitress Megan was very courteous and friendly. My steak was amazingly good and well seasoned and did not need any sauce. The sides were good as well. I most definitely will be coming back again on my next visit!!!

Wonderful restaurant in Kill Devil Hills! Our server, Shana, was great! We tried multiple appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Everything came out perfect. The seafood bisque was my favorite (we also ordered the wedge and Caesar salads). All of our steaks were cooked to the correct temperature and were very flavorful. Each dessert was delicious as well. Can’t go wrong with that you order here! Each entree was anywhere between mid twenties to high seventies in price. Worth every penny!

Went to dinner for our anniversary. Our server, Fran was amazing. Super friendly, on top of it, and made sure to check on us throughout our meal. Our drinks were never empty. We started out with the bread and butter… and I could have eaten the entire thing myself. We shared Carolina Egg Rolls appetizer stuffed with collard greens and pulled pork which were delicious. I had the JK’s special and my husband had the lamb rack. Both were served with mashed potatoes and collard greens. It was so much food but it was all so good! We took home dessert for our daughters and they devoured it. All around a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to go back. My husband even said. “That was probably the best meal I’ve ever had.” I personally never thought I liked collard greens… guess I never had them cooked properly because those were my favorite part! Highly suggest you stop in. It’s pricier than the other local restaurants, but for a good reason. You won’t be disappointed.
