After driving by for many years not knowing this place existed we stopped in! I wanted to get some tortillas and chips for my meal. The corn tortillas were a hit and delicious. I also picked up some pastries for breakfast. Also delicious and fresh. We will be going back to try their tacos! It smelled so good?

This is a great place for authentic Mexican food. With these prices you can afford to try something new. We had fish, shrimp, and chorizo tacos, a steak Gordita, cheese quesadilla and enchiladas. The black beans are especially good. You won’t be disappointed with the food here! It’s “To Go”, with two tables out front. They also sell tortillas and delicious pastries and cookies. Gracias, Amigos!

I stumbled upon a hidden gem—a small, unassuming Mexican restaurant that doesn’t look like much. However, let me tell you, the chips and salsa they serve are simply amazing. Don’t judge a book by its cover—this place is definitely worth a visit just for that delightful combination.

Hidden gem for bangin tacos, chalupas, burritos and more! Picked up pastries, cream, and tortillas as well. You can dine in, there are a couple seats inside and out. If more than a couple in your group take it to go. Don't forget to get the salsa and other toppings located to the right of the register.

16 June 2022 - I hate my friends, LOL. I’ve lived here for almost 5 years and have always asked around for good, authentic Mexican food. The only two places I knew of in the region are the food truck in Rodanthe (which seems to be hardly open), and then a place in Columbia. I can’t believe no one told me about this place! And of course, it was the last place I had finally tried on my own. SMH. This place is legit. I will be back…often.

Yummy find in town! We are here visiting and wanted some good tacos. Place isn’t huge, but there is some seating inside and outside.
We ordered nine carne asada, two shrimp, one fish taco. We loaded them up with onions, cilantro, salsa, and a squeeze of lime. They were some of the top tacos we’ve ever had outside of San Diego. Also had a Jaritos and a jamaica tea to wash down our perfect lunch.
Sorry we didn’t get any pictures of the food before we devoured it- but you won’t be disappointed. 🫶🏼🌮🫶🏼

Authentic. Awesome burritos and good amount for the price compared to nearby takeout. We bought tacos for the kids, but keep in mind it only has the meat in it and no cheese, lettuce, etc (maybe you can add).

We found this place by accident and were so happy we did. It is situated at the end of an unsuspecting strip mall but don't let that deter you. This isn't an american/Mexican joint. Your not gonna sit in this place and eat gallons of free chips and salsa but if you want real, talkin REAL mexican tacos this is the spot. No waiters, no frills just real Mexican food.
The tortillas are made there and they are perfect. Fresh and not thick like a pancake. Light yet crispy and hold up to the filling without any sort of hull breach. They don't double up the tortillas and don't need to.
The meats were on point and rival anything we've had in our Mexican travels. Lengua was tender and flavorful like the best roast beef you've ever had. The cabeza also was melt in your mouth and fatty in just that oh so perfect way. The barbacoa yields to the bite, juicy with that slight off the farm flavor that makes it unique. Last but not least the tripe, you could tell it had been cleaned properly and was cooked crisp and crunchy with just the right amount of seasoning.
Dash of cilantro, onion and a twist of lime to top of em off and wow.
They also have agua frescas like alot of taquerias do. However, the jamaica is made with the flower not powdered drink mix and unlike most places they actually give you a big gulp size cup of this heavenly nectar.
They also make homemade Mexican breads and deserts there. Dont be afraid to try any of them.........we tried them all.

Excellent. Best chicken tamales, best street tacos, best fried fish tacos. Very small place. Either take out, our eat standing outside. Sweet cashier ready to answer all of our questions. Wonderful selection of international soft drinks too! Cant wait till the next time to eat their food again.
