Today was my first experience trying the Quebec specialty known as "Poutine"...so amazingly yummy! ...Mathilde & Jean-Francois also offer a vegetarian/vegan/gluten free option...plus they have a shaded seating area so you can enjoy it onsite while the poutine is served "hot from the fryer" ...the best... or better said in French..."Le Meilleur"...
So delicious !
All the poutines (French fries with delicious savory toppings !!) we got the one with sausage, pineapple (great to add sweet with savory !), and cheese curds.

We didn't try the other options and they have a lot, but I can say than this is the best vegan poutine than I had and let me say than I tried a lot of vegan poutine in the last few years!!!

Nice little truck tucked away from the street, the lady inside is french and super friendly. The poutine with mushrooms and sauted onion is so good. We also got the crepe with strawberries and Nutella a great way to finish the meal. Live this place and will go back again.
Lovely shaded spot with excellent poutine. If you are looking for authentic poutine either our of missing it or wanting to try it for the first time, you can't go wrong here.

We went there twice. The only time we’d had poutine was in Victoria, BC. It was salty and fairly tasteless. Looking for something different and seeing the high reviews, we decided to try Just Put In. The owners were charming. The food was great. I had La Tabarnack - poutine with mushrooms and onions both visits. The beef gravy was so rich and the curds weren’t “squeaky” as we recalled from or Canada trip. The dipping sauce for the coconut shrimp set it aside from others we’ve had. We’ll go back when we return next year. Maybe twice.
Found this wonderful food truck close to where I get my pho bowls. Notice they offered crapes and decided I would give them a try. I ordered the garlic shrimp plate they came with eight shrimp saturated and yummy garlic, with a pile of rice and slaw. Everything was hot and delicious had me licking my fingers. Couldn’t eat the slaw due allergy but look very good and was offered extra rice, Quick service and friendly!
Just Put In - Poutine Food Truck located in Kihei, Maui. Home cut and made french fries, Wisconsin cheese curds and gravy presented in a French Canadian cuisine tradition. Excellent, slow cooked and tasty. Easy access and egress, food truck ambiance and friendly and dedicated owners.
We ate here two days ago with another couple and I tried the tabarnak poutine... Amazing. Jeffrey the owner was very friendly and offered up suggestions based upon our personal taste preferences. My husband tried the crepes and they were also amazing. Just look for the blue truck in the corner...it’s totally worth walking back into the lot and trying some tasty food.
This is a must have whenever we come to Maui. The couple that run the place are friendly and inviting. The food is always excellent and you can certainly taste the high quality ingredients, the other shops just don't cut it. The only time I am ever disappointed at this wonderful food truck is when I arrive to find they are at a festival or market and I can't get a hold of my favorite island food!
