An amazing higher quality restaurant with spectacular service and attention to details.
Fast service of delicious food, but at the time we went, it was pretty noisy with high background noise levels that calmed as the night progressed. Would highly recommended and can’t wait to visit again 😁

My party of 4 didn't have a reservation, which we should have, but we were given menus and the opportunity to order drinks while we waited. And it was so worth the wait!
We had the poke nachos and boar sausage to share. And all loved our mains. Both were great.

We got perfect seats with ocean views. The menu had Waygu sliders,loaded Belgium fries, and they were OK. You're paying for views and great wait staff. Parking is best across the street. Be careful when crossing the street.

Ambiance, service, food & drinks were all amazing. My husband & I love it so much, we went twice during our trip.
Highly recommend the crispy cauliflower appetizer and Parmesan crusted island fish. Also recommend going before sunset to benefit from the amazing view!

Louie was the BEST server we have had during our stay on the island. He was knowledgeable about the menu as well as the area and local activities. He was informative and appropriate, never too much, consistently considerate and helpful. Everything we tasted was suberb! The "cheese sandwich" was something we'll dream of until next time.

Had a great dinner at Sam's with a perfect view of the beach during sunset. Pretty much all of the seats have a great view of the ocean.
The restaurant faces East, so you don't see the actual setting of the sun, but the view is still georgous as the clouds and ocean turn colors during sunset.
And if you are lucky or time it right, you can catch a spectacular moonrise! The sea lights up like a bed of diamonds with the moonbeams glistening on the waves.
For dinner, my wife had a chimichurri wagyu steak that was simply fantastic. One of the best dishes we had on our entire trip and definitely the best steak. I had the ahi tuna special which had a wasabi ginger preparation over an avacado cucumber salad- also delicious.
Definitely plan a visit to Sam's if you come to Kauai- reservations are a must if you want a sunset or moonrise timeslot.

Great place for our first evening. Got a reservation for 5:30. Inadvertently, that was lucky, as we were able to park. The rest of the evening was adrenaline inducing as we watched near misses with people nearly hitting our rental car (the black one). As they tried to park.
Enjoyed mai tais, ahi tuna, and flourless chocolate cake . Really enjoyable. Great atmosphere.

Went here based on a recommendation from our Airbnb owner and I’m sure glad we did. Super fun small little restaurant right on the coast with absolute amazing views of the ocean. Open air and fantastic island vibe. The staff was friendly and efficient. We did small plates splitting the Wagyu sliders, Mediterranean toast and grilled cheese. I must say the grilled cheese was one of the best things I’ve had to eat in a long time, but you can’t go wrong with any of these dishes!!!
