Cute little diner. Friendly wait staff, fast service on a Saturday evening. Enjoyed soju with our meal. Huge portions...plenty of leftovers for later. Great meal.
Amazing food! The spicy is hot and full of flavor! The smells were very satisfying. Thank you to the staff for creating a fast and very tasty experience. 10/10 will be back again.
Very tasty. Excellent grilled meats. Family style is great. Fusion plate lunch sides. We had chicken, beef kalbi, chicken Katsu, shrimp tempura and a type of battered ribeye. Macaroni salad, Kim chi, sprouts, rice, and non dairy Cole slaw.
Bibimbap ($12 w/seaweed soup) was so delicious!!! Combination (both BBQ chicken and beef) was also tasty, tender...excellent. Staffs are friendly and sincere. They also sell delicious Kimchi, Daikon Kimchi and Cod Fish to take out. However, when they are busy, it will take time (about 20 minutes) for the food to be served.
What a local delight! Delicious island style Korean barbecue! Servings are generous, and the staff is very welcoming and friendly! I always pick up some platters when I'm in Kapaa. You can also have it delivered through the local D2D food delivery!
I hadn't had kalbi since arriving in HAwaii a few days ago! Today was the day to change that! The windows are tinted so it's really hard to see inside and the OPEN sign was not lit so I am glad I peered in and saw two guys eating!
We aren't that hungry so shared a combo plate, the chicken katsu and the thinly sliced kalbi. The kalbi was delicious, flavorful and tender! So good! The katsu however was a big disappointment! There was a very thick layer of batter on it, the batter on both sides combined was thicker than the chicken in it!!!
The kimchi was ok and the Mac salad was actually a potato and mac salad I didn't care much for!
The kalbi was so good that even though everything else was mediocre I still thought out deserved 4 stars!
We thought the food here was great. I got the “mini” BBQ chicken plate and it was a ton of food. And reasonably priced for so much food.
My husband liked his meal as well. He got the Bibimbap.
The staff was very nice, even though she seemed very busy and somewhat frazzled, she was still very nice and took care of us.
The staff was super friendly and the food was very tasty. I had the Combination Plate with BBQ chicken and beef. Delicious!Particularly noteworthy are the large portions with lots of meat. It is also one of the few restaurants that are open a little longer in the evening. Highly recommended!!!
Came here for dinner and had the Tempura shrimp and short ribs. The short ribs were cooked medium rare which was nice. The tempura shrimp batter was light which I prefer as well.
Very friendly service and both servers were knowledgeable and helpful to us when making our choices. Fair value as far as price is concerned when compared to other dinner options in Lihue.
We just wished there was ban chan (small Korean appetizers) served prior to the meal. It would also be nice if there were more Korean soup options like GamJa Tang.
Would visit again.
