My husband and I grabbed some food to-go recently. Super friendly, fast, and delicious food! We will be returning soon for sure. Buffalo chicken wings were very good!
The wings were great along with both sides, Mac & cheese and mashed potatoes w/gravy or better known as the Game Day Special!! One of the best places I've eaten so far on my trip out here to Kansas/ Missouri
Food was fresh and served hot. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. The dining space is small and on the warmer side in this summer heat but well worth the wait and the heat. The staff/owners are awesome.and very friendly. Game day is a great restaurant to visit if your in KC. They have everything from breakfast to burgers to chicken wings and fish and did i already say it's cooked fresh to order. So delicious. Give give them a try
Excellent food! Fresh hot, flavorful, and crispy!!! I got the 6 party wings with 1/2 lbs catfish strips. The wings were really good in size, juicy, flavorful. They were sauced in Buffalo. The Buffalo sauce was smooth, velvety, and not too strong. Tasted more than the typical salt and vinegar. It was really good and paired well with the chicken seasoning. The fish was also crispy and flavorful. I opted to get a side of the Buffalo sauce to dip. Delish! The tartar and ranch were average in taste. I prefer a sweeter spicier tarter though. I have eaten here 3 times now. Service and food are both consistently excellent. Thank ya'll for the entire experience. Love the outdoor seating and friendly faces!
So delicioussssss and the portion size was big! I got the fried catfish sandwich and I want to eat it again!
I would have taken a better picture if I had known these would be so good!!!!! By far the best wings we have had since we moved to KC. They even beat The legendary KC Peanut
We also had the Game Day Burger. A good solid burger. They upped their game. Fairly certain it was a fresh hand formed patty, with toasted bun and served with fresh sliced red onion, romain lettuce, tomato and higher end pickles. We will be back and we are so happy we found this place.
PS. Only outside eating currently. So plan on ordering takeout if the weather isn’t right.

The food was delicious fresh and hot when it was delivered to me. Everything was so good. The onion rings were superb and crispy. I was nervous that they would be soggy and cold but they were super crispy and fried to perfection. The French toast is my all-time favorite so so delicious. Mac and cheese and yams were wonderful. Fried chicken was mmmmmmm good! I love supporting black owned businesses! I definitely will be ordering at least once a week!
I love this place the owners are friendly and the food is awesome very nice atmosphere. Their French toast is awesome my favorite thing on the menu and the prices are very reasonable and you get a good amount of food
A small place located on the south side of the shopping center off of Wornall, you may not expect much from Game day chicken, but be prepared to be dazzled. I had the daily special of party wings and fried catfish with fries. The wings were awesome, the catfish was good (but not as good as the Raytown Lufti's IMHO). My friend had a shrimp po'boy and loved it. Cost for both was $30 something. The owner is present and checked on us. The service was great and fast. Overall, a great experience and I would be eating here again. However, if you want to check it out, get there early as they close at 5 pm.
I ordered the shrimp and grits with cheese on it, and it was mighty tasty! I’ll definitely be making this trip again soon.
the atmosphere is chilled, and laid back. there's good staff on hand that make you feel as though your back home in the kitchen. the waffle is sweet and delicious. if asked how was it...you can just say "all good"!
