Had the pleasure of trying some delicious IPA the other day. I'm excited for City Barrel to open this year. Great things are brewing for Grant and his team!

It was my first time visiting. I loved it! The food was so tasty, and the customer service was outstanding. Allison was sweet, attentive, & very charming. She gave great recommendations and made sure we were happy with our selections. I can’t wait to return and try more!
We were in town visiting from Ottawa, Canada, and this was our 5th and final microbrewery visit in KC over 3 days, and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere was great, the food fantastic and our server was perfect for our needs (Sorry I forget his name). Would definitely visit again if back in KC for another football game!

The staff are very friendly and prompt to greet you. The food was a bit pricey for me though, and I had to order tacos and wings to feel full, but I imagine the experience would have been better if I was drinking too.
Had the Octoberfest beer and it was absolutely amazing. Ordered the bulgogi tacos and fries and they were both scrumptious. Would 100% recommend food and drinks.
Came in with a group of 12 on a pub crawl. This was a fantastic stop. Wonderful food & drink (in-house and local selections). Great waitress and staff who were friendly and fun to talk with during a slower time of day ( Allison et al)
This is the second year in a row we hosted a corporate event at City Barrel Brewing. Both years the experience was top notch! Christina was awesome in helping book the event and getting our setup handled, an excellent Assistant to the Regional Manager. Allison served our group and she could not have been any better! Very attentive, humorous, and always smiling. Jack was at the door and was always willing to help out when needed and to suggest a beer to try. The food was very tasty and the drink selection was broad enough to satisfy everyone that attended our event. Well done City Barrel! We’ll be back!
Such a fun Night with Bar-Manager Aaron and his father. We were the last guests, tasted so many beers and found out, that Geology + Craft Beer belong together :-))) Greetings from Germany.
Stopped in for a mid afternoon meal and a beer. We were seated right away by the friendly and happy staff. The waiter was knowledgeable and friendly too. A nice selection of beer and eats which came fast. The kitchen staff does a great job of making the food presentable as well as great tasting. Thanks.
As far as Craft Brews and Craft Eats this place definitely has it right. I had the Pork Cheesesteak Sandwich with a salad. The meat was perfectly made and although I've had pork sandwiches before this was totally different and tasty. As far as the beers, I am an IPA Fan and loved the different palat of colors and flavors the Brews came with. Good job C.B. keep up the good work, Cheers !
Finally visited this great brewery! Just a few blocks' walk east from the Crossroads streetcar stop. The environment was nice, loved the beer selection (get a flight to sample several.) I had the avocado chicken sandwich and fries and husband had the pork tacos and SUPER hot Jamaican wings. Food was very tasty! Several locally sourced options. Service at the bar was average overall, though our main bartender was helpful with choices. Outdoor seating and lots of indoor space.
