Food was outstanding! Really good authentic Mexican restaurant. Remember its authentic not Tex-Mex, so its more like what you get in Mexico.
Everything we had was cooked perfectly and tasted great. I would go back anyday and would highly recommend this place.
We travel the country full-time in a RV and always look for good Mexican restaurants. This one lives up to the hype. Start with the house Margaritas because they don't skimp on flavor. The carnitas michoacan style were very good. The menu had so many other unique choices that set this place apart from your standard Mexican restaurant. You need to go.
Awesome experience, food, drinks and service. Owner came to talk to us, sounded very passionate about cooking and had extensive knowledge of flavors. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Variety of drink options right from margaritas, tequila, mezcal originals from Mexico. Must visit!!!
Great, as always. Much busier on a Saturday night, but we still got seated immediately. The churro dessert was well worth the wait, as it was crafted when we ordered it.
The decor was good. The concept of open kitchen was a bit different. You could see everything that went on as far as cooking. The food was ok
The best item we had was the rice. The bartender was, I guess, new cause those drinks were awful. I ordered a Pina Colada as I was told they couldn't make it. So, i asked for a classic margherita, and that was not made right either it tasted like trash.Then another guest of a lighter color asked for one, and it was made right away. Then, all of a sudden, mine could be made. 4 people with 3 drinks plus food $109 yikes. Kinda pricey for a place that can't make cocktails. 😕
I loved the food and the servers were great. The guy singing was way to loud. I went with a group of people and we could hardly hear each other talk. I would have loved to hear more traditional Hispanic music. I thought the restaurant was very charming. The owner was out on the floor working alongside his staff which I thought was great! I had a great time and will be back.
Update: We have been back several more times and I am working my way through the menu. We have not been disappointed. There are so many unique dishes on the menu that I still want to try. We will continue to support this local chef!
Very good offerings from Chef Tito. Many items on the menu I want to try. We have been twice and both experiences were good. Second time was carry out and i had the chicken Mole. Very good, chicken moist and the house made mole sauce was very good. Only criticism was that i was light on the mole sauce, but that may have been due to takeout nature of the order.
We will definately be back.

This is more like a family dinner place...more then just a restaurant! Stopped in for a quick bit and found something of a gem!
They have salsa dancing on Saturday at 8pm!
Was in KC for a business trip, and I'm always asking for food recommendations and not the kind of food I can get back home (AZ has every chain) I look for real local spots with the honey feel. Today's recommendation hit the nail right on the head. My coworker suggested this as he and his family love this place and because Tito makes everyone feel welcome and remembers and knows everyone! This place is very nicely decorated and set up. The staff is fabulous, and the food.... Ohhhh the food. Hands down some of the best food I've eaten in my entire life. From the cheese dip and the salsa, to the Costa Rican vegetable bowl, to the Chile relleno THE best most flavorful food. Come hungry because the portions are not small and you will not be able to stop eating it. We had the pleasure of meeting Tito and saw first hand his passion for the people in his establishment and for the food they cook and serve. Will be adding this to my regular line up for work trips.
