We had breakfast on Sunday at Linda's wooden spoon. It's the best breakfast in Jacksonville. From the prices to the quality of food. She uses the best quality of food products from the bacon to the biscuits it's top quality. How many restaurants use homemade hollandaise? There's not many. You feel like family at the restaurant.
I am a regular at Linda's. I usually go for breakfast but not exclusively. Their hamburgers are to die for. I thought I would never find a homemade tasting hamburger outside of my kitchen until a friend turned me to Linda's Wooden Spoon. Next stop? Those grits and shrimp look mighty delicious!!! I believe they are calling my name!!!!
We came here on Mothers Day, and though they were really busy we still received good service. I had the Scotch Eggs and the hubby had breakfast in a sack (with mayo added). We were both very please with everything. This is a down-home sort of family owned restaurant with good, southern style food. We will definitely be back! Better here than a Cracker Barrel!

The spoon was awesome! From the Mason Jars to the chicken and waffles! Real good time. Will definitely return! Service on point, and don't mind accommodating request. AWESOME!
If you are looking for Hipster or Trendy this is not your place, but if your interest is a clean, comfortable place to have a well cooked basic breakfast served by friendly, efficient people this is it. Always on the lookout for a non chain restaurant in the Arlington area, Linda’s hit my radar and that meant a road trip. Not a big breakfast person I was hoping for something to enjoy and did I hit the mother load, well for me.
Great breakfast ! Good service, good price, quantity was awesome. Very happy with the meal. The tables arent on top of each other. Great environment. The owner is present. We will be back.
The BEST breakfast around!! Served all day.. Try the Scotch eggs.. So yummy!! The staff are experienced and very nice. They know how to make you feel at home. This family owned restaurant will make your mouth water!! And leave you coming back for more.. My Next visit the eggs Benedict.. Can't wait. See you there!

Linda's Wooden Spoon is family owned and operated. Grand opening was January 9 2016, breakfast and lunch all day, opened Tuesday - Sunday. 7:00 - 3:00 . I am now open for dinner Friday & Saturday nights until 9:00. Come see me.
Terrific breakfast with my wife here. Place is kept clean and has a very friendly and attentive staff. Left feeling completely satisfied, " you won't leave hungry". So good we''ll definitely be back to try lunch and dinner.
First time impression says it all
Read about Linda's in the paper and had no idea it was this close to work. Decided to stop in for lunch.
Lots of parking, very clean, lots of room and service was above par. Had the meatloaf and it does taste home made.
Breakfast served all day so can not wait to bring my wife here for lunch.
Prices are very reasonable and the servings are big enough.
Great service, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Best part is they serve breakfast all day. I'm still making my way though the menu but my personal favorite is the Shrimp and Grits, the Philly and Chicken Philly are yummy.
Home town,whole hearted cooking and friendly,welcoming right at home service. Food was delicious and service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for locals and travelers,especially to get out of traffic and fast paced weekly stressers,to relax,and be greeted with a wholesome smile,and filled up with hot,healthy,hearty selection of southern cooking,all the fixens!!
