I had biscuits and gravy with sausage and eggs. I also had a waffle. Every thing was great! The biscuits were amazing, probably some of the best I ever had!!! I would suggest this place if you want breakfast. Also breakfast is served all day. I have not had lunch or dinner here yet.
Best comfort food in town.. The service was great and the food was even better! I recommend you make this your new spot for home cooked goodies!!
Great food in a diner environment that will make you remember the good old days.
I was immediately attracted to this place when I saw its reviews were higher than any other major breakfast chain in the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home, even though I was 250 miles away from it. The food was served very quickly, as breakfast should, and everything tasted homemade. The portions were generous and the prices were very low. I’m so happy I chose this hole in the wall restaurant over iHop, Denny’s, and Waffle House.
Excellent food and friendly service! The food makes me think fresh and home cooked and at very fair prices. With the exception of having to get up and leave the house, I don't even see a reason to make breakfast at home anymore. Even at church lunchtime on a Sunday when Cracker Barrel has major wait time, this place was busy but still had room for us. I'm sad that it took us so long to go here, but we will be back soon and frequently.
Unbeatable prices for great home-quality food. If you’re craving some good southern hospitality and the food that typically entails, COME HERE! I had the best chicken fried steak in my life. Also, the house fries are incredible, definitely ask for some.
I had one of the best burgers that I didn't cook myself here. The attention to detail from the hand formed well seasoned patties, the buttery perfectly toasted buns, condiments on the side along with the vegetables so nothing got soggy. Then I tasted the burger and it was sooo good, I will definitely be going here again for another one and maybe some fried tomatoes next time

I have lived in Atascocita for almost 10 years. I have always passed the location but never stopped. My sister suggested the location for breakfast about a month ago, I tried it and pretty muched hooked. This is my second visit and both times were great. The waitresses are great, and very helpful...and each time the breakfast was awesome. I have plans on also trying lunch and dinner.
3/5/18*Bigger than it looks. Great service. Cooked to order home style foods. "Beth" was knowledgeable of the menu. She made us feel right at home. My sister and I both had the liver n onions, squash casserole, mashed potatos and cornbread. Her grandson had chicken noodle soup. All of it was delicious. ***TENDER LIVER***I recommend trying this hidden gem.
This is my spot. Been going every Sunday for years ( until I had my baby 2 months ago- have to wait before taking her in public). I was very upset when I saw a few reviews claiming racism. I myself am black. My husband is Hispanic. All the staff and even the owner have always been so sweet to us, even getting excited when we come in, especially once I was visibly pregnant. If you see them greet someone and not you, it’s likely because they KNOW the person. A lot of us are regulars & know everyone there personally.
I don’t think they change out the waitresses names on the tables- I’ve seen the same ones there forever. This is an authentic ma & pop diner. The food is amazing. Reminds me of my grandmas cooking. I do see an older crowd and after church lunchers coming in Sunday afternoons when I go. It’s a very everyone knows everyone feel- likely because so many of us are weekly customers & get to know one another/the staff.
Again- Black woman, Hispanic husband, interracial family. This place is our go to. The food is amazing, it’s priced well, and it has an authentic country diner feel. If you want cookie cutter corporation dinning, this is not the place for you. If you want good food and a welcome home feeling, stop by.
Great food reminds you of home cooking. Plenty of choices. Great friendly wait staff. Nice place in a diner type atmosphere takes you back a few years. Give it a try you will enjoy the experience.
