Best comfort food in town.. The service was great and the food was even better! I recommend you make this your new spot for home cooked goodies!!

Great food in a diner environment that will make you remember the good old days.

I was immediately attracted to this place when I saw its reviews were higher than any other major breakfast chain in the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home, even though I was 250 miles away from it. The food was served very quickly, as breakfast should, and everything tasted homemade. The portions were generous and the prices were very low. I’m so happy I chose this hole in the wall restaurant over iHop, Denny’s, and Waffle House.

Excellent food and friendly service! The food makes me think fresh and home cooked and at very fair prices. With the exception of having to get up and leave the house, I don't even see a reason to make breakfast at home anymore. Even at church lunchtime on a Sunday when Cracker Barrel has major wait time, this place was busy but still had room for us. I'm sad that it took us so long to go here, but we will be back soon and frequently.

Unbeatable prices for great home-quality food. If you’re craving some good southern hospitality and the food that typically entails, COME HERE! I had the best chicken fried steak in my life. Also, the house fries are incredible, definitely ask for some.

I had one of the best burgers that I didn't cook myself here. The attention to detail from the hand formed well seasoned patties, the buttery perfectly toasted buns, condiments on the side along with the vegetables so nothing got soggy. Then I tasted the burger and it was sooo good, I will definitely be going here again for another one and maybe some fried tomatoes next time

I have lived in Atascocita for almost 10 years. I have always passed the location but never stopped. My sister suggested the location for breakfast about a month ago, I tried it and pretty muched hooked. This is my second visit and both times were great. The waitresses are great, and very helpful...and each time the breakfast was awesome. I have plans on also trying lunch and dinner.

3/5/18*Bigger than it looks. Great service. Cooked to order home style foods. "Beth" was knowledgeable of the menu. She made us feel right at home. My sister and I both had the liver n onions, squash casserole, mashed potatos and cornbread. Her grandson had chicken noodle soup. All of it was delicious. ***TENDER LIVER***I recommend trying this hidden gem.

This is my spot. Been going every Sunday for years ( until I had my baby 2 months ago- have to wait before taking her in public). I was very upset when I saw a few reviews claiming racism. I myself am black. My husband is Hispanic. All the staff and even the owner have always been so sweet to us, even getting excited when we come in, especially once I was visibly pregnant. If you see them greet someone and not you, it’s likely because they KNOW the person. A lot of us are regulars & know everyone there personally. I don’t think they change out the waitresses names on the tables- I’ve seen the same ones there forever. This is an authentic ma & pop diner. The food is amazing. Reminds me of my grandmas cooking. I do see an older crowd and after church lunchers coming in Sunday afternoons when I go. It’s a very everyone knows everyone feel- likely because so many of us are weekly customers & get to know one another/the staff. Again- Black woman, Hispanic husband, interracial family. This place is our go to. The food is amazing, it’s priced well, and it has an authentic country diner feel. If you want cookie cutter corporation dinning, this is not the place for you. If you want good food and a welcome home feeling, stop by.

Great food reminds you of home cooking. Plenty of choices. Great friendly wait staff. Nice place in a diner type atmosphere takes you back a few years. Give it a try you will enjoy the experience.

Best breakfast I’ve had in a really long time. Nothing fancy, just great quality food. Home fries were delicious, coffee was strong and hot, and bacon was perfectly crispy!

One of the only diners around that takes pride in cooking a real meal. You'll find people drive in from all around to regularly eat at Trigg's. I've been happily eating their boudin for over a decade. Nothing fancy but it's all good.

The chicken fried steak sandwich was delicious!! Just like the good old days! It had meat in it! When I'm in that area again, I will make it a point to visit that restaurant! Nothing fancy, just good food!

Love this place. The prices are good and you get a lot for your money. The food is very homey. The place has a lot of small town charm. Love this place, they deliver too! I would choose triggs over dennys any day

I had biscuits and gravy with sausage and eggs. I also had a waffle. Every thing was great! The biscuits were amazing, probably some of the best I ever had!!! I would suggest this place if you want breakfast. Also breakfast is served all day. I have not had lunch or dinner here yet.

I know why Trigg's is going under !. I called in a to large to be delivered --I was told 30-40 minutes & the food would be delivered. After 1 hour and 15 minutes I called Trigg's back to ask why the order was late. I spoke to man who did not identify himself. He was very rude, short, and unprofessional. He neved apologized ! In fact, he said "how about we just cancel your entire order" and he slammed the phone down in my ear. This was approx. a 50.00 order that waseither thrown away or given away.I called back a few days after this devestatind experience and asked to speak with an owner or manager.I was told that the 2 owners did not work anymore and they DID NOT HAVE A MANAGER--What ??? So I am pissed off & will I NEVER EVER go to Trigg's again & I will also voice my horrible experience to everyone I know as often as I can.

This is probably why the catering business collapsed & why the retaurant will most likely colse soon too !!

I have never dealt with a more unprofessional owner! The owner Harvey decided since I didn't like his gravey that he needed to personally insult me, no I'm not kidding. So don't eat here unless you want bland gravey unseasoned chicken and insults from a man who doesn't know what running a business is.

It was awful. Just awful. Don't go to this place. Do yourself a favor. Also very expensive!

Probably good back in the fifties. This place was probably a good diner when it opened a few decades ago. And it probably hasn't changed much aside from the fact it has aged. But I don't think many people outside of a small West Texas desert town are looking for a diner like this anymore.
