My husband lost his father today. We needed to sit and talk just to get away from it all.

Excellent food. Went in for an afternoon meal looking for enough to keep me going as the only meal that day so I chose the T-bone with the artichokes. It was a wonderful choice. Very tender steak cooked exactly as requested with the extra mushrooms and onions on top.
I opted to have a Cesar salad to start as that is my favourite, others in the party had the garden salad and both looked very good, but I did enjoy mine.
Service was very good and it was busy so when things seemed to be taking longer than expected we were greeted and assured that the kitchen was working on a few large tables and we were not forgotten which was nice.
Noticed a few desserts coming past, though I was not indulging that day, they looked amazingly large and really wanted to try that carrot cake.
Overall an excellent experience and I would highly recommend as a very good place to get high quality steak and great service.

Myself and two buddies stopped in on a recommendation while waiting for our flights back to our respective cities. We were craving steak, and Saltgrass was mentioned. The service was awesome. Our server was really good. The steak and shrimp I got was delicious and cooked to perfection! If you are in Houston and have some time to kill while waiting for your flight, go to Saltgrass steak house, you won't regret it!!

Update 11.14.2023. Had 12' ribeye...exceptional. Recommend the sangria...very good...a little sweet. PRIOR: 59 and 1960 location. Beat the church crowd. Ribeye and filet mignon were prepared as requested. Baked potato, potato soup, and salads were fresh and tasty. The horseradish sauce was a little too watery. Staff is friendly, courteous, prompt, and attentive. Recommended.

One of the friendliest Saltgrass restaurants I have been to. Even though I had a to go order, the hostesses, the management, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.

Our good friends took us here for our last dinner in Texas. The food was fantastic. Our waiter Jose was super...very personable and friendly. We really enjoyed it. Wish they would open one in Windsor...lol.

Dinner was great order the NY strip with fried asparagus and loaded mash potatoes and wife ordered steak salad and son mac and cheese. drinks had the ranch water but did not like it was mostly watered down and send it back got a margarita which they were kind enough to switch no issues and even manager came asked me if everything was okay. So overall good service and food was good.
