Love this place and now they have one in my neighborhood!! Green area for the kids, and ice cream shop next door!!
The soft shell crab taco was delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
My Honey and I came to the Rice Village location for a nice lunch. We were NOT disappointed. The atmosphere is very welcoming as the host. We were seated right away and greeted shortly by our waiter Osario. We both ordered the power bowl, I had mine with shrimp and he added tuna to his. It was made fresh and tastefully prepared. We enjoyed ourselves so much I booked a reservation for my mom’s 60th birthday dinner here so we’re guaranteed to return to this location!
All around charm!! Stumbled up on this place and this was by far one of my greater Tex-Mex experiences. We ordered the sampler and grabbed a couple drinks, both were great!! Highly recommend the sampler!!!!!!

Okay, this is weird, because i normally dont like this restaurant. City Ctr food was not all that! They were strike 1. Their drinks were also weak. I tried again with UberEats from a different location👎🏾 They had egg shells in my food 2x. Manager offered money back through uber eats and offered me a complimentary meal on my next visit ( i was so furious, i never used it).
But 2 or 3 weeks ago, i went to the one in Rice Village; the food was bomb 🙌🏾 One jumbo margarita did the job! They offer valet and have self parking in a garage(reasonable pricing). So now, if i ever go again, RICE VILLAGE will be the only one i spend my money on.
I had veggie burrito! It was good! But the best part of the day was the salsa! I’ve never eaten anything like that salsa ever!
But the worst part of all Mexican restaurants in USA is a complete lack of imagination/variety for the entrees! I’ve almost never seen anything more than the same 4-5 items!
Even the rice is almost always made in chicken broth!
However the service was good.
Would I go there again? Possibly no!
My wife told me about this great Mexican restaurant that I should try. So I did. I tried the Lump Crab Meat Nachos. Excellent presentation as well as taste. I will definitely come back and give something else a try in the near future.
Great experience as usual! The food, service and atmosphere was great! Kito our waiter was so attentive and knowledgeable! This is definitely a place will keep in our food rotation!
5 stars all around! Why? Because not only was the food absolutely delicious... Hayven, our server, was a total star! She gave amazing recommendation for drinks and accomodated us quickly when we realized we were missing a few elements of our dishes (pico, guac, etc) She was smiling and had an overall positive vibe. I loved how she was funny and light hearted during a busy evening. If you don't go for the tasty salmon jalisco or incredibly fresh and light tortilla chips, go for the amazing drinks and positive energy of the servers.
Always a favorite stop in Houston! Great food and great margaritas!! The Chile Relleno was outstanding…and I would not say the tamales were my favorite I’ve ever had…were a little light on the filling…but still good.
I’ve been to other locations but this one might be my favorite! The restaurant and bathroom were so clean. Our waiter was so nice and checked on us continuously. The food and drinks were on a happy hour special (we got there at 3pm)- both were excellent.
We are from Arkansas and were recommended this restaurant from family. Wow is all I can say! Everything from the staff, the atmosphere, to the food and drinks themselves are top notch. If you do come here, ask to be seated in Red’s section. She was amazing and such a sweet person and has great recommendations for food and drink options! 10 out of 10!
