My Honey and I came to the Rice Village location for a nice lunch. We were NOT disappointed. The atmosphere is very welcoming as the host. We were seated right away and greeted shortly by our waiter Osario. We both ordered the power bowl, I had mine with shrimp and he added tuna to his. It was made fresh and tastefully prepared. We enjoyed ourselves so much I booked a reservation for my mom’s 60th birthday dinner here so we’re guaranteed to return to this location!

All around charm!! Stumbled up on this place and this was by far one of my greater Tex-Mex experiences. We ordered the sampler and grabbed a couple drinks, both were great!! Highly recommend the sampler!!!!!!

Okay, this is weird, because i normally dont like this restaurant. City Ctr food was not all that! They were strike 1. Their drinks were also weak. I tried again with UberEats from a different location👎🏾 They had egg shells in my food 2x. Manager offered money back through uber eats and offered me a complimentary meal on my next visit ( i was so furious, i never used it).
But 2 or 3 weeks ago, i went to the one in Rice Village; the food was bomb 🙌🏾 One jumbo margarita did the job! They offer valet and have self parking in a garage(reasonable pricing). So now, if i ever go again, RICE VILLAGE will be the only one i spend my money on.

I had veggie burrito! It was good! But the best part of the day was the salsa! I’ve never eaten anything like that salsa ever!
But the worst part of all Mexican restaurants in USA is a complete lack of imagination/variety for the entrees! I’ve almost never seen anything more than the same 4-5 items!
Even the rice is almost always made in chicken broth!
However the service was good.
Would I go there again? Possibly no!

My wife told me about this great Mexican restaurant that I should try. So I did. I tried the Lump Crab Meat Nachos. Excellent presentation as well as taste. I will definitely come back and give something else a try in the near future.

5 stars all around! Why? Because not only was the food absolutely delicious... Hayven, our server, was a total star! She gave amazing recommendation for drinks and accomodated us quickly when we realized we were missing a few elements of our dishes (pico, guac, etc) She was smiling and had an overall positive vibe. I loved how she was funny and light hearted during a busy evening. If you don't go for the tasty salmon jalisco or incredibly fresh and light tortilla chips, go for the amazing drinks and positive energy of the servers.

Always a favorite stop in Houston! Great food and great margaritas!! The Chile Relleno was outstanding…and I would not say the tamales were my favorite I’ve ever had…were a little light on the filling…but still good.

I’ve been to other locations but this one might be my favorite! The restaurant and bathroom were so clean. Our waiter was so nice and checked on us continuously. The food and drinks were on a happy hour special (we got there at 3pm)- both were excellent.

We are from Arkansas and were recommended this restaurant from family. Wow is all I can say! Everything from the staff, the atmosphere, to the food and drinks themselves are top notch. If you do come here, ask to be seated in Red’s section. She was amazing and such a sweet person and has great recommendations for food and drink options! 10 out of 10!

Well, it was Cinco de Mayo when I visited, and the wait was 1 hour plus. They were apparently well understaffed. As you can imagine, slow service. It it's disappointing when you feel rushed to put all the items that you would like to order all at once. Appetizers, main dishes, deserts, and beverages had to be put in all at once because you didn't know whe was the next time you would see your server. The upside to this experience was that the food was good.

Just finishing up dinner here and the food was good. I had the chili relleno with was tasty. The atmosphere is colorful and upbeat. However, the best things about my experience was my server Carlos. He was/is amazing!!!! Super friendly, kind, helpful and on the ball. My water glass was replaced 4 times! He answered all my questions and was an absolute pleasure to converse with. I cannot recommend him enough!! If I was rating on him alone my review would definitely be a 5. He made my dinner extra special!

The food is delicious! Good flavor and although it’s an esthetically pleasing restaurant, the food is still authentic! Osorio served us, and did an awesome job at it! He made sure our drinks were filled, was quick with getting back to us when we asked for something, and was very friendly. Overall enjoyed coming here with my family. I’m sure it’s a great place to come at night with friends also!

Good Tex Mex. Always a fun place with good margaritas, salsa and beef fajita meat. Patio is enjoyable with good weather. The Village is hopping in the evenings so reservation is recommended. Free garage parking is a short walk. Unlike many other places however, they will charge if you want a small amount of queso to top your fajitas. Menu prices may be a tad bit higher than comparable places but after all, you are in the West U area!!!

Poor service, rude staff, sat for 10+ minutes with no silverware, drink menu, chips or server. Then after asking for the check waiting 20+ minutes with no water, drinks or chips. Then to be told the computer is down and our only choice is to sit and wait. Disappointed. Better service at lesser priced places in town.

The omelet, beans and rice were amazing! The mimosas were delicious! The atmosphere was fun and festive! The only thing that sucked was our waiter....we didn't see him much...our water was never refilled and we waited about 25 minutes for to-go boxes and bags.

When we first arrived, the waiter was overheard saying, in Spanish, that he "didn't want to wait on a table of 7", so they changed our waiter. We were there for 5 hours, and we're constantly ordering food and drinks. One friend and I each ordered Ball Park nachos from the Happy Hour menu. My nachos were twice the size as hers. We kept having to call our waitet to the table or ask another member of staff to go get him for service. We spoke to the manager again, we got another waiter again. Then when we got our bills, people were either charged for items they did not order, or overcharged for the items they did order.
This was my fist experience at Cyclone Anaya's. The food and drinks were good, but due to the service issues, I will not be going back.
