First time to Taste of Texas with my family. We loved the food. Best steak I have ever had and I love steak. This fine restaurant needs to be on top 50 restaurants in the nation! I want to personally thank Erin our server for giving us VIP service. The manager was walking around making sure all the guest were fully satisfied. All the food is amazing. Erin showed us around and made us feel very comfortable. I finally found my #1 Steak house. If you are looking to eat like a king and be treated like one, look no further. THANK YOU!!! Taste Of Texas. We are very glad we found our new home. We will be back soon…

My family has been coming here for 10+ years to celebrate my birthday. I turned 21 yesterday, and deciding to keep up this tradition was the best decision I could have made. Taste of Texas ages just as well as their wines. It seems like over the years the service, food, and atmosphere keeps getting better. Our waitress, Laura E., was the spitting image of what exceptional waiting and customer service looks like. She made this milestone that much more unforgettable. As always, we cannot wait to go back!

A few locals recommended this restaurant on our short trip to Houston, the best of the best close to downtown for steaks, we look the menu prior our arrival but … we never knew that they have salad bar! Alex our nice waitress, ask us if it was our first time we responded with a big and loud yes but big mistake he never told us about the salad bar and we ordered two appetizers , the problem? After the appetizer he mention the salad bar and at the time the steaks got to the table with more than 5 sides, I was already full, couldn’t finish eating the expensive steak… big big mistake! BUT, overall everything was really good!
