This restaurant has been around 30+ years, same owner, and prices slightly higher than other dim sum or seafood restaurants but the quality, atmosphere, sanitation, decor and service are much better. The owner holds high standards. Though pricey, customers love the dim sum, live seafood, and other traditional popular dishes. We were full and happy and had a good time. Asked the banquet manager and they can house 70 tables!

Saw this place on social media and got curious. They push food around in carts, which is an interesting style we had not seen in a while, and you can also order from the menu. All dim sum dishes including shrimp dumplings and fried pork dumplings were good. Ordered congee (rice porridge) and it tasted good but would have liked it a little warmer. Green beans from special bar was good and a huge portion. Mango pudding was in a cute shape and yummy. Oolong tea also was good. Place is spacious and it was a welcoming and nice setting.

Probably one of the ONLY places left that still push the dim sum carts. The shrimp dumpling skin was a bit dry but everything else was tasty. The prices are so much higher than before, be prepared to spend about $6.95 for a large dim sum dish which is at least a dollar more than most other dim sum places around. We went on a Sunday, 10 minutes after they opened so we didn't have to wait too long. If you are in town and want to have a unique cultural experience or something different to do, come to Fung's Kitchen. You won't go wrong with solid food, atmosphere and service. It'll be worth the experience and your bellies full. 🙌

It was our friend's 60th birthday party. We went on Saturday night. The restaurant was packed. There were a total of 4 birthday parties going on. The atmosphere was festive, as we listened to the waiting staff singing for each party. Their service was attentive and detailed. The food was excellent. We highly recommend their steamed black cod. Fresh, tender and not too salty. Their Peking duck was also crispy and not too greasy. Very nice!

One of the best dim sum I’ve had in Houston. Seating and service was fast. The service staff was very attentive and dishes came out fast. I really enjoy eating their shui mai, sesame balls, baked custard lava bread, and shrimp dumplings. Might be slightly more busy on the weekend but is terrific place for getting lunch on a Friday.

First time back after their reopening. There was no parking in the lot so we did valet. We came in around 11:30am on a Sunday and were seated in less than 5 minutes. Surprised to see they had push carts!! They also have a hot food bar. Food had all the flavors I remembered. Though, the squid was mushy and too much batter. The fried noodles were also very bland. I recommend coming in around 11, because a line was already forming by the time we sat down.

This place has everything, all the dim sum was good. The waiters are always walking around and removing ppates. I went with my friends, but hopefully next time I go they speak english. Food comes out fast when your order it. Everything is pretty fair price. Would recommend this place to anyone

This was my first time coming here to celebrate my friends birthday. I wasnt used to the dim som cart service but after a few carts went by I finally got the hang of it. I was so happy that they had my duck dish there. I would recommend the bbq buns, sticky rice with shrimp and pork dumplings. When you first come in make sure you go in front of the desk so you can check in at the kiosk. It was pretty busy when we but we got seated in about 10 minutes.

Tried this place for the first time and was actually really good. A little fancy looking for a Chinese restaurant but was still really good. Definitely recommend giving it a try.
