Fung's Kitchen - Houston - Photo album

This restaurant has been around 30+ years, same owner, and prices slightly higher than other dim sum or seafood restaurants but the quality, atmosphere, sanitation, decor and service are much better. The owner holds high standards. Though pricey, customers love the dim sum, live seafood, and other t
One of the best dim sum I’ve had in Houston. Seating and service was fast. The service staff was very attentive and dishes came out fast. I really enjoy eating their shui mai, sesame balls, baked custard lava bread, and shrimp dumplings. Might be slightly more busy on the weekend but is terrific p
Probably one of the ONLY places left that still push the dim sum carts. The shrimp dumpling skin was a bit dry but everything else was tasty. The prices are so much higher than before, be prepared to spend about $6.95 for a large dim sum dish which is at least a dollar more than most other dim sum p
I LOVE THIS PLACE! Definitely will come back! The food is perfectly prepared and served. Might be one of the best Dim Sum restaurants in the US. The atmosphere is so nice, it will let you feel the culture of the Guang Dong brunch style. Definitely give a try. Highly recommend the baked bun with liqu
Saw this place on social media and got curious. They push food around in carts, which is an interesting style we had not seen in a while, and you can also order from the menu. All dim sum dishes including shrimp dumplings and fried pork dumplings were good. Ordered congee (rice porridge) and it ta
We had high expectations- were NOT disappointed. Loved this Dim Sum place. No reservation in advance - only in person waitlist. Huge dining hall. Nice interior. And most importantly- everything we tried was fantastic! Definitely gonna come back
This was my first time visiting a place with Dim Sum and it was fantastic! The food was amazing and the round rotating tray in the center of tge table made it easy for my whole party to share food. They have all types of dishes to satisfy your taste buds; savory, sweet, and spicy. I definitely recom
This place has everything, all the dim sum was good. The waiters are always walking around and removing ppates. I went with my friends, but hopefully next time I go they speak english. Food comes out fast when your order it. Everything is pretty fair price. Would recommend this place to anyone
First time back after their reopening. There was no parking in the lot so we did valet. We came in around 11:30am on a Sunday and were seated in less than 5 minutes. Surprised to see they had push carts!! They also have a hot food bar. Food had all the flavors I remembered. Though, the squid was mus

It was our friend's 60th birthday party. We went on Saturday night. The restaurant was packed. There were a total of 4 birthday parties going on. The atmosphere was festive, as we listened to the waiting staff singing for each party. Their service was attentive and detailed. The food was excellent.
This was my first time coming here to celebrate my friends birthday. I wasnt used to the dim som cart service but after a few carts went by I finally got the hang of it. I was so happy that they had my duck dish there. I would recommend the bbq buns, sticky rice with shrimp and pork dumplings. When
Went there for the second time, this time I went at 12:30pm on a Saturday, didn’t have to wait even though the place was full house, there were table available. The dim sum were good as usual. Today we tried the salted egg yolk lobster. First time trying lobster cooked this way and it was really goo
Reopen from pandemic- amazing dim sum place, fast service, tasty food. I know it is a bit pricy more than other places. But it worthy !
Tried this place for the first time and was actually really good. A little fancy looking for a Chinese restaurant but was still really good. Definitely recommend giving it a try.
If you're carving for good hongkong conventional style dim sum in Houston, check this place out. Amble of parking space outside and tables inside, it's a comfortable and spacious restaurant with different sort of dim sum carts moving surrounding you for order. Overall food is great to excellent.
All my past visits were for the dim sum. They're usually always pack with a long wait on the weekends. We came on Friday and luckily got seated immediately before the crowd after us waited. No push cart but instead order by paper. This way, the food is prepared by order, which took longer. But it's
My favorite Dim sum place, am glad they reopened on Nov 18 last year. Went there at 10:30am and the line already builds up pretty long. It’s still spacious as before and the usher is pretty fast to get everyone seated. The push cart servers are also ready and moving around the restaurant while custo
We arrived early on Sunday, so we would not have to wait, since we had plans for a museum. Plus that allowed us to get a great parking space AND stand inside to wait. We were seated at opening and had a great server. The rolling carts brought out food. It was not nearly as quick as I expected from h
