Fairly standard korean barbecue spot, at least when I visited over a year ago.

I came here instead of GEN because I wanted a more local homey experience. This place was excellent. As a solo traveler, it's hard to find solo AYCE KBBQ mainland. This place charged me $33 which I found acceptable. The waitresses and staff were charming and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back whenever I come to town.

We bumped into this place after a 13-mile walk. We were looking for some AC and a cold beer. My wife and I eat a keto/carnivore diet often. This place hit the soft. Lisa was our server, and she was excellent. It was fun to cook our meat the way we liked it. The sauces were excellent. We chose the shaved brisket, spicy pork belly, and steak. It was all very good. That said. I wouldn't do the steak again. Mixing the sauces and then putting the rice in the sauce was a perfect way to carry the flavor into the lettuce wraps. A small bit of rice with the meat on top was delicious. Don't let the grungy appearance fool you. It was a very good place to eat and the staff were nice. We noticed a lot of locals eating lunch there. That is always a good sign.

The atmosphere here was nice and the food was delicious. They had sides and all you can eat here. Wished they had more meat options but overall it was a great experience. We had a large group of 13 and the staff was very friendly and quick to serve our food.

Really enjoy Sura! The AYCE menu is identical for lunch and dinner. But lunch is much cheaper! They have only so many meats but the standards of brisket and pork belly are available! My favorite thing is the ayce corn cheese with it!

Definitely worth it, even more so when it's cheaper before 3 pm.
The quality of the meat was good and the side dishes were also tasty. We ordered the marinated kalbi, marinated brisket, and the bbq chicken. With tofu soup, french fries, and house salad as sides.
This was my first all you can eat korean barbecue experience and it was fun. My family loved the fact that we could cook our own meat to our taste. Definitely would return if were ever back in Honolulu.

This was a great fun eating experience. The meat was choice. The rice kept coming. The sauces were deliceous. The service was excellent, always checking on you and pro-active with replacing the grill-top. The atmosphere wasn't quiet, but not in a bad way; lots of laughter and people enjoying themselves. And if you want to leave your mark, sign something on the wall!

Super fun eating experience. This was our first time having Korean BBQ. You have 90 minutes to eat and it’s all you can eat too! Very affordable price as well. I think it was $28 or $30 per person. The employees were very attentive, friendly, and they have buttons as well in case you need something before they come back around. My favorite was the bulgogi, garlic shrimp, and the cheesy corn.

Value wise, this KKBQ place is pretty good. Made a reservation for 5:30pm as we were wrapping up some hiking and came famished. I was put off by the 3 meats/3 speciality items at a time (e.g., lettuce wraps are more of a side, why is that counting against me...?) But didn't run into any issues while ordering with the server. You arrive to the table with Mac n cheese and cheesy corn already in the grill - the server comes after and pours in the egg. All of these cook while you eat and capture the grease from your meats. If you don't eat these soon though, they tend to crisp up and can burn by the end.
I appreciated the many sides and sauces you can order. I love love LOVE that they have pre-roasted garlic. Like I hate having to wait to cook raw ones and take up valuable real estate on the grill, so having it come already cooked and develop that roasted flavor is awesome. Pickled jalapeños were also good with good spice. What I didn't enjoy, however, was the mixed salad. It's essentially spring mix with their house dressing, but what's annoying is that half of it will be wilty or gross with the dead sludgy leaves. Like I had to pick them out, which ended up being like half the salad each time. The meat quality was pretty good with your standard picks of brisket, bulgogi, kalbi, steak, pork belly, etc. Shrimp come with shells on, which is kind of annoying to take off as you just wanna eat them but gotta wait for them to cool down. We also ordered the Terra beer, which instead of a pitcher came out in a big plastic bottle.
Servers were attentive and frequently changed out the grills after they start to burn, especially after marinated meats. Someone mentioned this in another review, but there is indeed a hole at the bottom that spurts out hot grease - this happened multiple times where I felt a stinging sensation while eating....quite a PITA.
Parking also seems to be a pain.
