I remembered this place as more delicious. Poke maguro was not completely defrosted when I had it, wasabi was a bit too strong and it was a little too salty over all. Didn't get asked about rice but do they have brown rice?
Gambatte Shaka!

Amazing poke place in Waikiki. Spicy mayo tuna and garlic shrimping is very delicious. Fish is very fresh, and sauce is super flavorful. The $3.75 coconut pudding is easily better than $10+ desserts in other fine dining restaurants. Highly recommended!

This hole in the wall is less than a 10 min walk from the beach and it is bomb dot com.
Ordered the salmon poke with miso sauce and it was definitely one of the best poke I’ve ever had. The 2 types of wakame they used made it really unique and special. The onions gave it a nice bite and the sweet, complex miso sauce tied it all together. Simple, balanced, delicious and very reasonable prices.
Love that it’s run by a sweet Japanese grandpa and that it’s an unassuming little spot on a quiet side street!

Had the ahi and salmon bowl. Big tender chunks, delicious. Very reasonable and extremely friendly folks. Wish we had found on our first day instead of our last.

Walked in and didn't have any idea of what a Poke bowl was. Think of it as sushi on rice, although some of the menu is cooked. I ordered their spicy mayo Ahi. Fantastic! I will be trying more of their menu!

Tried the Ahi Poke with soy sauce. The fish was fresh and tasty, the rice hot. The contrast between hot and cold with subtle flavors was perfectly balanced.

We had the Ahi Poke bowl with spicy mayo, the Poke bowl mixed ahi/salmon with miso sauce, the teriyaki ahi steak plate (ahi is seared) and served with fresh cooked vegetables and salad. Also Udon with Tempura Vegetables. All fish was fresh and very flavorful. The Udon was also very good. The sauces were amazing....we kept tasting off each other’s plate. We would order all of these entree’s again but I think my personal favorite was the Ahi steak plate. The owner is such a kind gentleman...made excellent recommendations.

Cool little poke-bowl store run by an old Japanese guy! The store and it's prices were great, and so was the service, but I think the poke-bowl could have been flavored better. It was kinda salty, to be honest. The store was pretty empty, so it was a nice, quiet place to relax for a bit before going to the next activity.

The workers were very friendly. Service was quite quick and the miso poke in particular was really good! The cut of the fish was awesome (no tendons or hard to chew pieces which I find a problem at some poke places). A very cute place for a reasonably priced, yummy bite!

The deluxe poke the best I’ve ever had. Ivan was so cool make sure you ask for his karaoke story. After entertaining us with his stories he then serenaded us with his silky voice. This place is a must go!
