This place was recommended by a friend so my husband and I had a date night here yesterday (Friday, 2/23/18). First off, I didn't think this place could transform like that at night. It's a cozy little quaint place. Very casual and definitely nothing fancy. However, it's beauty was in the view of this epic sunset and not one, but two fireworks shows that was an awesome treat. There was live music by the grill side, and the band was pretty friendly with everyone. A close knit bunch that gave out plenty of Aloha! Now the food ... we chose to eat from the grill. They grilled our steaks to our liking, and brought it to our table. We got up to get our salad, rice, and roasted vegetables. Even went up for seconds of the sides. The servers were very accommodating and friendly. For the price, it was definitely worth it. And, we were actually able to find parking nearby. We had friends that went up to get the smoothies and said they were good, too! Warning, lines do get a bit long at times but the music kind of makes the wait worth it. I've already planned to go back with other friends. Definitely recommend to those that are not looking for fancy & fluff, but just want to enjoy a relaxing evening with friends and family that enjoy the same.
This was probably my fave place in Oahu. Not the fanciest but the coziest and their ahi poke bowls are AWESOME. They also serve these “pineapple smoothies” that’s basically a whole pineapple with the middle puréed into a drinkable slush. It’s awesome! I went here 3 times trying to score a cold cocoanut but they were always out. I think you have to get there early to snag a cocoanut. I also had their shrimp plate lunch and that was also very good. And their shaved ice is legit!
Such a fun spot right on the beach to catch the sunset and get a tasty bite! They have live music every night and the vibe is so cozy and unique. The food the last time I went wasn’t very good, but in the past it hit the spot.
Solid tuna poké bowl and pretty good portion for the price. It’s a no frills approach but sometimes I think that fits the bill perfectly. The dole whip was also tasty! I loved the patio with covered and uncovered seating along with copious sauces and utensils.
This place was our favorite place when we visited Oahu. Unfortunately, we only found it on our last day!
The price for food was about the same as most other places on the island for breakfast, but the portions were fairly generous. We had French toast and eggs Benedict. The French toast was fantastic and the eggs Benedict was also quite good. We would have preferred the English muffin be toasted, but otherwise no complaints. Overall we would rate the food four stars (we are picky), but it was the best breakfast we had had on the island.
We ended up going back for dinner since we enjoyed it so much. I had the steak and shrimp as pictured. The rice was a bit dry and the shrimp were not peeled (which I prefer), but the steak and shrimp were both seasoned very nicely and tasted great. My wife had the poke bowl which was also quite good. The dole whip was the best we've had.
As far as the ambiance, the place is right on the beach and the views are lovely. We didn't stay late enough to experience any live music. From what I understand they have live music every night.
Overall we would rate this place five stars. The food is quite good despite not being perfect, and it is beautifully displayed on the plate. We enjoyed the open air with ocean views. We would definitely recommend this place.
This is truly a hidden gem! Ordered smoothies, shaved ice, fruit cup, fish of the day, and their North shore smoothie in a 🍍... everything was perfect! The prices are reasonable. During our entire stay in Oahu, we have eaten out quite a bit along Waikiki - this place felt the most welcoming (bonus: our orders came with orchids). Highly recommend! Limited seating in the shade.
We enjoyed our breakfast here. Beautiful atmosphere. Food was mediocre. I got the Loco moco with fried rice: I found the patties a little undercooked.
We also requested the eggs to be well done on the egg benedicts, which was poached instead.
The staff were kind.
This is one of the best kept secrets in Honolulu. It's a lovely open air restaurant on the beach off the beaten path of Waikiki without the hustle and bustle of a ton of people. Loved it so much we ate there 7 times for lunch and dinner over the week and a half we were there. Great food, very reasonable prices, no alcohol. Live music every night with Hawaiian dance lessons on Monday nights. The proprietor, Randy, is awesome. He let us get a pineapple to take home to our grandson and they don't normally sell them whole. Also treated us to some delicious cheesecake for our 50th. The evening sunsets were incredible and we highly recommend it. Thanks Randy.
Came here twice during our 7 nights stay because we loved it so much. No frills counter where you order and pick up your food. You pick your own table and sit down to eat and enjoy your food. There's even live music and views of the sunset. Overall, would definitely recommend this place. Food is good and price is very decent.
A real hidden gem of a cafe that seems popular with the locals - great food, ocean views, and nice relaxing atmosphere.
Wonderful friendly staff.
You need to scan the QR code to see the menu, and then queue & pay at the counter.
They call the orders when they’re ready.
Great food and good coffee. Bacon was crispy and omelettes well made.
Lots of shaded outdoor seating with a lovely cool breeze.
Perfect spot for breakfast by the ocean!
Beautiful location overlooking Waikiki Beach. The fruit is crazy fresh and the presentation of their food is beautiful. I did note our omelettes were a bit salty, but otherwise everything was excellent.
Absolutely amazing. One of my favorites in Waikiki. Drink from a pineapple, eat, burgers, steak, tacos, breakfast. It was all good. I must've gone back here half a dozen times in a month
