Waffle House

Generally chains are chains. It takes a lot to earn those extra stars. This Waffle House does it. This location is not one that everyone will visit because of the location. We stopped at this one due to easy in and out with good parking for our travel trailer. The service was fast, good, and friendly. The food was very good and arrived hot. It was very clean including the restrooms.

If it wasn't for the cook, this last visit would be a 1 star rating. Waitress we had last night was horrible. Brings coffee, doesn't offer creamer. Brings Waffle, doesn't bring syrup until we have to ask her for it. Brings steak & no steak knife. When we got there, there were only 2 customers in there, yet 3 dirty tables. Those customers left about 10 mins after we got there. 30 mins later, that table still hadn't been cleaned & neither had the other 3 & no new customers had come in except for 1 lady who ordered something to go & the waitress had left to go to the store so the cook took care of her. Not 1 time did she ask if we would like anything else to drink. The cook refilled my husband's coffee & he offered creamer & was really nice. Honestly, the cook could run the restaurant by himself & it would be better than having her "help". If I go back & see that waitress, I'll go find another restaurant. Maybe she was just having an off day, but this was the worst service I have ever seen in any Waffle House & I grew up in one & it has still been one of my favorite restaurants even after I grew up. This was extremely disappointing.

It was like visiting a day care where not one child knew what to do or how to do it!!! I waited 24 mins on a omelette and hash browns that was to go, I was so mad when I finally got to leave with my granny's food!!! I had to tell the waitress twice my plate had no toast on it 7 employees was standing around watching 2 people work , and the 2 people working didn't have a clue of what they needed to be doing it was awful service and awful all around experience, i promise I will never go back to this waffle house PERIOD

Keep driving 2 more miles to the other Waffle house on Whitehorse road and you will get better service. The waitress,Tiffany, was an absolute disgrace to customer service. We waited 15 minutes to order. My Mother in law (60 yrs old) inquired about our food after watching the 5 orders after us go out. Tiffany quickly got very agitated, spoke loudly, was rude, and cursed at her several times. My Mother in law asked for her money back, but Tiffany claimed she couldn't give a refund. Another waitress interceded and tried to de-escalate the situation. She was clearly disappointed in her coworkers behavior and mentions that this happened a lot. Wow! Tiffany decided she would call LAW ENFORCEMENT. Other customers disapproved and some spoke out about how ridiculous she was acting. Bottom line, we DID receive a refund and was told that we cannot go back to that location. Ok! The Waffle house down the street..thank you for turning a mess into a successful food run. (3 people there did better than the 7 at store# 1574) Management please check into this. Enough is enough!

The best Waffle House around the Greenville area, I go every weekend and when you know the people it’s even better, they are really nice and respectful, they know what to do, and I have try different ones but every time that I go to a different one we (my family and I) have a horrible experience so that’s why I recommend this one
