The New Year’s Eve dinner was out of this world! I recommend the Tipsy Mushrooms as an appetizer and anything their new chef has as a special as an entreé. He’s being careful not to change the menu too quickly or dramatically for Greenville, but his specials have been phenomenal. The wait staff was stellar! Everyone I’ve had was thoughtful and kind in a way that felt warm and genuine. I only wish it was closer to where I live-I would make it my new writing haunt.
We like to go here on Tuesday’s for Trivia Night. I wish their menu had more options. I’ve had the brisket, shrimp tacos (I prefer the sauce in the side because it’s super spicy), and Chicken Quesadilla. They were all very good! They have a good beer selection. They have their own and they still offer regular beers on tap too!
First time here, def worth the drive! This is probably the prettiest salad Ive seen. Everything taste so fresh and delicious! Friendly staff and nice environment!
Really wish this place was closer to Grand Rapids. We came here because of the beer passports.
I think this third or fourth visiting last four years, I have a cowboy burger with fries and it was delicious. I drink homecrafted beer Green Tractor and was not bad beer. We waited a long enough to take our food order by manger and then serve brought our food. Somewhat not busy on Saturday middle of April, about 30 ish people in for lunch.
My husband and I have been here twice. And both times were a great experience. Their spinach dip is really yummy, and you can add carrots/celery for a healthier/gluten free option. The have a wood-fired oven, so the pizza is really tasty. My husband has gotten the Judge burger twice, and loves it! They also brew their own beer here. We had a flight of the in-house beers last time we were there, and they were pretty good. Sunkissed Blonde was the fav. They also have a bloody mary bar Sunday mornings, and occasional karaoke or bands.
Great staff, Annette was the best server! Good beer and food, excellent atmosphere!
Great food, good beer, and a very snazzy interior seating area... Castle is a great local brewpub that is only going to get more popular. Check it out while it's still one of Greenville's best-kept-secrets! (P.S: there's also a great outdoor seating area for those nice, sunny days!)
Very nice place, good food, good craft beer, and friendly staff. It's on the top of the list when we are in Greenville, look forward to the next visit.
Food was awesome. First visit. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!
We came here after a long day of driving with a u-haul and we were ready for a drink! The first good thing was that there was enough space in the parking lot to park our vehicle plus the u-haul without worrying about parking space for other customers. So basically parking is easy.
It was a Saturday night, so there was live music. My husband and I LOVE stumbling upon live music! However, we had our 2-month old with us so I appreciated that the music wasn't too loud. They seated us in a back corner so that it was even less loud, which was great.
Every staff member we encountered was friendly, and the bathrooms were clean enough that I felt okay changing our baby there.
The food and drinks were great quality as well. My mother-in-law just moved to the area and she's already talking about becoming a regular here. I hope she does, so that we can go back when we visit her!
