The 05

To die for family style tapas! The 05 is the perfect place to enjoy food as a group. Tapas are general small bites to be shared but what The 05 does is elevated that in larger portions so everyone gets to really taste the flavors coming from each dish. They are known for their Brussels sprout salad which lived up to the hype. I found myself digging through to make sure all of the Brussels sprouts were really gone. I wasn’t sure the sweet potatoes would work but with the cheese and nuts it all came together in such a unique way. We couldn’t stop eating it. The tuna nachos were made with fresh wonton chips, chopped tuna, guacamole, and a wasabi aioli. I had to fight my husband for the few bites he let me take. He’s a big fan of wontons and wanted to order a second just to keep eating them. Finally the Garlic Shrimp, get them. For such a simple dish the flavors were built into this dish so well. I really enjoyed the garlic oil which definitely shouldn’t be skipped. Everything on this plate just makes sense together. The shrimp were beautifully cooked paired with the tomatoes and feta it’s so simple but there is nothing simple about the flavors. I love this type of dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The drink menu is well thought out and offers many options. The staff here is friendly but more than they they help each other’s tables so that you know there is someone available whenever you need anything. We will definitely be back!

Great to see this food truck turned brick and mortar thrive and maintain consistency. Great intentionality behind the food. Everything had layers of flavor and texture, a true gem for this side of town. The service was so kind and helpful. I couldn’t recommend it more - food and cocktails all were so delicious!

Great chef! Awesome food. We started with their version of pimento cheese spread. Yummy. We then split the flatbread of the day and the signature dish... the brussel sprout salad. The flatbread was amazing. Full of meats and cheeses with basil. Nice presentation. The brussel sprout salad was to die for. Over greens you got fried sprouts, sweet potatoes, feta with sunflower seeds and a nice dressing to bring all the flavors together. Again, great presentation. We both had the Chicken Milanesa first dinner. Two crispy breasts over greens with some roasted tomatoes. Topped with ham and fontina cheese. Cooked to perfection the juicy yet crunchy breasts were a great dinner. Since the wife got photos I'll need to ask them to the post later. This is a true hidden gem. You won't be disappointed!! Still great today!!

This review is for the O5 express at Gather. This is some of the best food I’ve had in Greenville! Service couldn’t have been friendlier. This fried brussel sprout salad was cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious. The combination of flavors is to die for. Can’t wait to try the restaurant location.

We tried this restaurant tonight and the food and drinks were amazing! The only complaint was the service at the bar was very unfriendly. They asked the bare minimum yet had conversations with all the people around us. We had a great time thanks to the lovely couple beside us. We will be back, but will avoid sitting at the bar in the future.
