Fire American Tavern

Went here for a group function. There were probably 80+ of us and we each paid $20 in advance. For this much money to go in, we didn't get much out. The food selection they provided was, salad, pepperoni pizza (only pepperoni), slices up chicken tenders, and spicy sliders. None of the food was labeled so for those of us with dietary restrictions it was quite difficult to choose what to eat. On top of that there wasn't nearly as much food as there should have been. I myself only got half of a chicken tender, and some girls went home hungry. The taste if the food itself was also not the best, and the employees seemed to be avoiding us. Overall the experience was not the best, and I will not be returning.

The food and service was good. Their gluten free buns were on par with other places. The burger was good. The ribs were very tender. A few places that were over done, but such are ribs. The service was good and attentive. Over all a fun place and a good evening experience. Still on the search for gluten free dairy free desserts.

The waiter was nice, but there was a guy who appeared to be running the DJ booth and changed the songs half way through them. Plus it was more like club music versus music that was enjoyable to eat to. The place looks dirty overall. The wait time for food was incredibly long for simple foods that weren't even cooked correctly. We also saw several people go in and out of the kitchen and none of them had any hair protection, but had plenty of hair. For being right in the heart of the uptown area, they were relatively dead. It could be a successful place if they would just clean up their act.

Came here after free boot because I heard they had really good food. They sat my party down and didn’t even take our drink order until 30 minutes after. Once we ordered it took well over 45 minutes for our food to come out. And one person never received their order. We had to ask the server for napkins, silverware, and eventually our ticket because it wasn’t worth the 2 hour wait for the chicken sandwich that never came. The food that did come was not made-to-order and we never received the side orders with the entrees that did come. My advice: take the 30-45 minute wait at another restaurant over this place because at least you know you’d get your food somewhere else.

Went to eat there for 75cent wing day but it took them 50 min to get the wings out to us! On top of that they gave me 5 instead of 10. That took another 10 min for the other wings to come. Should have known not to eat here when it took them 15 min to get our waters and take our order. The waitress was very slow(Angela) she just kept walking around the room looking for something to do. Won’t be back, going to Crossbones Taverns across the street from now on.

This place is HORRIBLE. The service is ALWAYS slow and servers are generally rude. We stood there for 20 minutes with servers constantly passing us but EVERYONE avoided eye contact and nobody offered to take our order. Then when we FINALLY managed to get a pitcher, the pitcher was FLAT. We had other people tasted it to make sure it wasn't just us who thought so. First thing they said without tasting the beer was "it smells funny" We then proceeded to get a "fresh" pitcher but were rudely treated by the bar manager (old lady with blonde hair). She insisted it wasn't flat and became extremely aggressive towards us even though we asked politely. Definitely one of the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered.

Food quality was poor. Don’t charge people for high quality priced food, when you get all your ingredients out of a bag. The manager looked lost all night. One of our dishes was untouched because how disgusting it was. The waiter asked why it was untouched. Our party member stated it was not good. This issue was left unresolved and the manager failed to make contact with our table. We were still charged Full price for a subpar meal with poor ingredients. The only positive portion of our visit was our waiter he was polite and was quick to respond to requests. Overall this place appears to be dated, the food quality sucks and for a “legitimate” restaurant/bar the customer shouldn’t be surrounded by arcade games or skee ball games like a local chuckie cheese....

Slow service. I don't know what the deal was during our visit, but we waited 20-25 minutes for our fried pickle app. When the app came out it was lukewarm. Our food came out 15-20 minutes later and it was lukewarm as well. We ordered some beverages after the appetizer waited 15 minutes, nothing ans called it quits with being patient. The manager and server really seemed apathetic. There was a table that arrived about 20 minutes after we did and there food came out the same time as ours. The issue was definitely with our server. Idk what he had going on, but he shouldn't be serving.
