The Livery

No stars! Horrible. $21.95 for steak and shrimp kabobs came with quinoa and vegetables. Well there were 2 shrimp 2 pieces of steak and 2 pieces of pink scallops on the kabobs. The quinoa was weird looking. The vegetables of the day were apparently the 2 pieces of peppers on the kabobs. Waiter forgot to bring our appetizer before our meal. Ice tea was horrible!

Stopped in for a beer and something to snack on and maybe dinner. We ordered the loaded fries and a couple of beers. After the loaded fries we decided not to eat dinner. Based on what we did eat I really did not want to waste my money with ordering dinner. Did not enjoy the atmosphere it felt stuffy and was ready to leave ASAP.

We arrived with a pretty large party (with a reservation) and we were accommodated very well. Everyone was very polite and friendly and service was pretty quick for us having so many people! The infamous Willy came out and took our orders and was cracking jokes with all of us. He was such a riot. He then went back and prepared all our food! We had such a wonderful time. The BBQ was amazing and I will for sure be back to try everything on the BBQ menu. The bathrooms could use a little touch up, but otherwise everything else was wonderful!

Tried an early dinner. Loud people at the bar, including staff, yelling and swearing while we waited quite a long time on our food. Appetizer came out after meal. Waiter attitude like we were an annoyance to even be there. Wife got steak and shrimp kabobs. One piece of steak and shrimp on a skewer. Rest was mystery meat including something that was white and pink inside. We were going to book an anniversary trip here, but not after this experience. Tried to see if a manager was available, but too busy carrying on at the bar. I would not recommend booking anything at this place. Especially a wedding.

I don't understand the negatives on the food. We make it a point to always stop at this place every time we visit Gettysburg ! Have always been pleased with both the service and the food. It's a "HIDDEN LITTLE GEM" Most people when visiting Gettysburg stay within the town to eat. Do yourself a favor. Venture outside of town a couple miles and you will find this place. You will be glad you did !!
