The staff was great and the food was even better. Loved the breadsticks and the chicken Parmesan was awesome! Would definitely go back to try more things.
The staff was extremely polite and on top of things. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Their garlic rolls are soaked in a vinaigrette oil that is surprisingly addicting. I found their food to be tasty but was extremely disappointed in the quality of their marinara sauce. I would come back and order their food again but I wish their marinara sauce would have more taste to it.
I LOVE Piesano's. My husband and I always order the same thing. Pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, garlic and fresh basil with a side of pizza sauce. For a pizza lover from up north, this is the best pizza place in Gainesville. I have tried all the fast food chains which normally tastes like cardboard and this is BEST! We have tried other places and the only comparable for me would be Fromaggio's in Ocala in which the rolls are better for me.
Excellent food and excellent service. Salads are very tasty with a variety of salad dressings to choose from. We love that you can order half & half pizza. The best and most digestible Chicken Parmesan I have had so far. Soups are good as well.
So, the pizza is so-so, nothing special but not horrible. The fried ravioli had a touch of freezer taste after they were cooled down. However, I cannot say I don't like the restaurant (wish Urbanspoon would give us a cannot decide button). The staff was very friendly and contrary to earlier reviews our waitress was very attentive as well as the manager. The rolls they give are very tasty.
Awesome food. Excellent service. Great experience. I recommend this place to all my neighbors, friends, and family. Pizza as well as entrees are amazing. Please come in and enjoy a great time with great food.
My Go-To Pizza. Easily the best pizza restaurant I've been to in Gainesville. Every pizza I've tried here doesn't fail to put a smile on my face. Simply put, you're doing a disservice to yourself by not checking out the taste and aroma that Piesano's is concocting. The vibe inside is a mix of Italian (dark furniture, dimly lite), and American (Flat screen tv's, big bar). Has always been quiet and quaint, with light music to set the mood right. Great variety of pizza's and other Italian foods. If they have the Oreo Cheesecake (a weekly special) snatch it up quick! I don't even like cheesecake and this thing converted me. Also service has always been way above what you would expect at this price point; very caring and attentive. I went to the new one at Tower Square, highly recommended.
The Best Pizza in Gainesville -True. Better than Satchel's. Both locations are great. Glad we now have one on the SW side. I order my Pizza well done and it comes out perfectly. I am from Chicago, so I know pizza. You will not find a better pizza in Northern Florida!
New Location at Tower Square. How nice to have a good quality new restaurant in this part of town. Very nice service, comfortable environment and good food. It is clear that they are still ironing out some opening glitches and they go to great lengths to make sure the customer is happy.
I intend to be a regular here and am very happy that they opened in a location that is near both my home and my office.
