Publix

Publix is my favorite and I enjoy shopping the markets...Deli, produce, and the general products. And oh my, especially the bakery!...everything always so scrumptious!! Mostly times the restrooms are clean, store is clean, engaging friendly staff. 😲 but when it comes to the floral market...my flowers seem to decay & die after a couple days! Let's do better Publix!!

Management seems to not care about the needs of their customers. This particular location really has gone down in the past year. I been residing in this area every since I retired from the military and it was top notch then. I realize that the demographic has changed but I still expect better service. I noticed that staff turnover quite often.

I went in for a cake for my sons bday party. The lady at the bakery was so nice but by the time I made it to customer service to purchase my cake, one of the store managers and I lock eyes as we walk up at the same time (with no acknowledgement of me the customer) has a conversation with the employee there for at least 2 mins. They finish the conversation she still did not address me and the cashier dryly, asked me can she help. Never have I had an experience like this at any Publix next time I will by pass to the next one.

What is the point of using the online deli ordering system is you all NEVER have the orders ready at the time YOU say you will have it ready?!? I don’t blame the staff, clearly you need more people. But I have witnessed staff cutting deli meat for the sandwiches you sell prepped and ignore my order, placed over an hour ahead of time. I am standing here at 2pm after having placed an order at 12:50pm that stated I could pick up at 1:30pm. There is one attendant taking care of 7 customers waiting in line and apparently also in charge of the online order I placed over an hour ago. This is not efficient. I had to ask someone from the sandwich area to get Someone. Now everyone is rushing, they look miserable, and I can’t even imagine the quality of the deli meat I will get. Please do something, Publix. This is not the first time I have this issue. I place online orders with the expectation that they won’t be completed or that I have to wait. Next I’m moving on to another store. This doesn’t make sense. I would rather you tell me I have to place orders a day in advance rather than you LIE and cause this much frustration.
