Mariachis Mexican Restaurant

We have been long time supporters of this place but unfortunately after our 2 most recent visits I don’t think we will be back. Over $120 for 2 adults and 2 children and the adults shared a single order of fajitas. Today we went in for lunch and ordered one a la carte taco and asked them to add shredded cheese. We were charged $3.49 for the taco which is totally reasonable but then an additional $2.99 for adding cheese. I questioned the waitress about why a small handful of cheese was $2.99 and she said it was because it was expensive. Not to mention that we asked them to hold the peppers and onions because my son doesn’t like them. They didn’t give us a credit for not taking vegetables but charged is nearly the same price of the taco for a small handful of cheese. In addition to that we had 3 soft drinks that were $3.25 each and she would not come refill them. The only drink she ever refilled was the water. I understand the rising cost of items and needing to raise your prices but ripping off loyal customers us a different story. Costing over $100 for a family of 4 to eat Mexican food in a mall is absurd. I hate it because we loved this place!

First, they gave me a broken high chair for my toddler. The back was not connected on one side at all. Then, they never brought out the cheese dip we ordered. When we got our food, it was bland and my toddler's quesadilla was soggy. It was sitting in liquid on the plate. I'm assuming it was grease, but it really seemed more like water. The food was not worth the price. The place was nearly empty when we got there, so I'm not sure why they didn't notice the broken high chair when they carried it to the table or why they forgot our cheese dip. Normally, I'll be more understanding, but they just seemed like they didn't care. They're serving 5-star prices with 3-star service and 1-star food.

Wow!! We didn't expect to like this place but we loved it. They had dollar mimosas. We ordered the guacamole, very delicious. Also ordered the Birria Tacos, one of favorite things we ordered. The queso was good and the tacos were also delicious. The highlight of the meal was definitely the guacamole and Birria Tacos.

Since covid I haven't been here in almost a year but i always loved this place! Food was good, the rice didn't seem so fresh though or tasted different than i remembered. Service is always perfect and good drinks but 8$ for a margarita for lunch is a bit too high. They should have cheaper ones for lunch!
